Only reason I didn't give this game 5 stars was because I wish it was bit longer! I don't startle easy and this game made me jump a few times! I took the advice of a reviewer on here to play in the dark with a headset on and I offer the same advice! That made the game all that more scarier! If you're looking for a lot of action this is not your game, its more of a strategic decision making game that makes you feel like you're in a scary movie.

overall good experience. The game doesn't have as many outcomes as expected, but there's still a lot to make me happy. This game does have a replay value on it, BUT only if you don't look up spoilers after completing your first play through. Also, Brett Dalton makes a good nathan drake...

Any fan of Horror and games like Beyond Two Souls, The Order, and cinematic titles such as those should pick up Until Dawn without a second thought. It has a great setting and a bunch of different endings that are tailored to the way you play. It makes for a great playthrough and fun to talk to other people about to see the paths they took.

This game was phenomenal! Plays out like a horror film. And unlike resident evil games, Until Dawn truly is a survival horror game. You can play as all characters who were motion captured for this game. You decide who lives and dies as you make the choices each character will make. I hope the developers make another game in the same vein as this!

Until Dawn is a cinematic game along the lines of Quantic Dreams' games Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. The story is like that of a B-horror movie, and the dialogue is equally cheesy (and at times cringeworthy). The gameplay can be a bit clunky and awkward at times, but if you've played the aforementioned Quantic Dreams games, you'll know what to expect.
All in all, it's a slightly flawed but still great and unique cinematic horror game.

I remember this first being announced as a ps move game and initially wrote it off. Then all news on it went dark and only recently came back into the spot light. If you don't like games like David Cages Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls then this game won't change your mind about the genre. But if you did like those, then you will fall in love with this game.

The horror genre is something I tend to stay away from. I realized this game was getting a lot of buzz and had to try it for myself. I must say, I was not disappointed! The decision making is engrossing, the story is great, the characters are great.
This is also a great game to sit down with your significant other (even if they are not much of a gamer).

I really loved this game, but try to get it for under $30 as it is very short and replayability isn't really a factor unless you really want to see how the parts/choices work.
IMPORTANT: Play this with friends/family watching. My favorite part of this game was debating my choices with spectators and getting their reasoning for certain choices I should make. Makes it way more fun, but it's also very good if you have to play alone.

I usually don't play too many video games but after seeing the previews online for this game I knew I wanted it. It was a pretty good game overall. My only complaint is that the story line is kind of jumbled together.
This game is sold as a horror game and let's just say I jumped out of my skin a few times! Play this game in the dark... It's even better!!!

Great game! bought this for me and my gf to play. i like how involved you are with the outcome of the game and how you don't need to be skilled at videogames (my gf is far from this) to play though it helps. There are some corny moments of course, but all the characters are interesting and you do feel some emotions and feelings toward each character.
