Ive canned everything from meat to soups. It warms the jars(can't skip that step), and has a cool down mode. Its fantastic. If u like to can and need to do it some where other than your stove this is the canner for u. It comes with a step by step cheat sheet that makes it easy to use. It also waterbaths. Highly recommend it.
