I’ve seen this game on the shelf for a while now but never got around to grabbing it. I couldn’t pass it up when it was on sale and I wasn’t disappointed. It has very good game mechanics and the shooting is on point. It’s a very unique FPS and has a life of its own. The story is very intriguing and keeps you coming back for more. I highly recommend. Great game!

This game reminds us why immersive sims can be so fun and engaging. Telling your own tale through gameplay rather than hallways and restricted "choices" that have little impactful meaning in the end is a refreshing change. Like the legendary Thief and System Shock games before it, Prey reinvigorates the feeling of becoming involved and immersed in the game world behind the eyes of your character, figuring out where and how to do your objectives, and providing interesting short stories of how you progressed through its game world. I would highly recommend this to fans of the original BioShock, as well as System Shock, Deus Ex, and Thief as mentioned before.

Very good game with good ideas too. However, the first areas are hard, you only have a wrench and glue gun for a while. It really does have similarities to the first two Bioshock games and the first Dead Space. The story somehow depends on which gender you choose to play as, but that's a common thing in games.

Unlike Bethesda current failing games, Prey is an exception. The game is a few years old but does not disappoint in terms of game play mechanics and story. And for the age, it’s still graphically appealing. It is a must play for any fan of the genre. If you have surround sound the ambient noises will creep you out. A game which you can accomplish tasks are in a variety of way.

I would have liked a simple remake of the original especially since it only came out on Xbox 360 and PC, but this reboot is not bad at all.

Explore the vast station of Talos 1. Develop skills to repair or damage and unravel the interesting story of who you are and how you got there. The game play feels similar to Bioshock, first-person combat that is not a pure shooter like a Call of Duty game. Game seems to range from 30-50 hours depending on how thorough you are with side quests. Potential plot spoilers if you finish the "December" side-quest early.

I have not finished the game yet but it has a slow start. A lot of exploration and somewhat hard enemies. Having a hard time finding access to certain areas but it makes it challenging. The game is starting to pickup the pace and has me intrigued. Game might not be for everyone but I'm liking it. Reminds me of Bioshock and Dishonored.

I love Sci-Fi games. I love games (and films) involving aliens. Alien: Isolation was extremely disappointing to me. I understand that it was more of a horror-stealth game, and Prey is more combat-focused. But AI was just boring as fuq. Prey has an amazing story, looks great (not just the graphics, but the art direction and design are so beautiful), and the ending will blow your mind. A+ here.

Picked it up at a great price! I started playing on and off every so often and once it clicked I blasted all the way through. Even though I only bought the base game, I'm considering grabbing the DLC when it goes on sale. Was enjoyable enough that I'd love to dive in a little more.

Prey is such a fantastic game that it made me rethink a couple of my choices during its story when I reached the end. I have played it about 60 hours and that was just trying to finish all I could do because I spent the last 9 days when I got it trying to beat it.
Honestly if you like some jump scares a fantastic matrix like story and being able to turn into a cup, buy it.

Similar vibe to bioshock set in space - you explore a space ship where things have gone terribly wrong. You can mix weapons powers like bioshock and dishonored, but levels are designed with lots of creative ways to solve challenges like dishonored 2. Story is intriguing science fiction story. Highly recommend if you like this style of game or science fiction stories.

This game is slow in the first hour but it picks up after that. This game has a lot of paths and you can play the way you want to. If you were a fan of Bioshock you will definitely like the game. The enemies in the game do provide good jump scares and the story is worth at least one playthrough, If you loved Bioshock or System Shock I suggest buying as soon as possible.

This game is fun however it took almost an hour before the game really got started it is pretty slow in the beginning because of the storyline but it is worth it I bought the strategy guide to go with this and I highly recommend it because there are a lot of things going on and it's easy to miss special pickups but game is fun once it got started definitely recommend renting if you get bored easy because of the slow start he just have to bear with it and keep going until the game gets started

I can honestly say that this is a fantastic game that I hope gets a lot more credit for what it does due to the unfavorable time of year the game came out in.
Actually fantastic game if you love Deus Ex/Bioshock type games. Great story in it and the gameplay choices you make in it are huge. Total recommendation.

I'm just going to put this out there - this game just HAS to be a spiritual sequel to the BioShock series, though set in space (or System Shock 3). It has the same deep sim gameplay, engrossing mysterious story, and plenty of length and side quests to do. One of the most underrated games of last year.

This game is meant more for experienced gamers due to the AI being a little too powerful. There were times in the game that I had to go to easy from normal. Otherwise, this game has an amazing story and plays out pretty well.
