There is a lot of hidden items to find in the game and this guide is a big help. Im not the best puzzle solver at times so this guide helps there too. My only real complaint is how the guide has things broken into sections and you have to go to different parts of it for the same level.

I bought the companion book so that if I got stuck, I had good reference material, though I try very hard not to cheat if I don't have to. I also liked the fact that it had detailed maps. While many out there will say that this info is free online, posted by other game fans on various forums and wiki's, (and yes, I have used those resources too), since I am a lover of this series, I couldn't pass up buying the guide. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that I love all things Lara Croft, owning multiple games on PC and console platform, multiple platforms, I might add, two statues, and more. hehe For a guide hint and help book, for the novice user, this can be helpful as it is a walk-through guide but for the serious gamer, it really chalks down to nostalgia/collectible status. Somethings you just have to own because it is part of the series. Is it a must have for game play? No. Is it nice to have on the bookshelf to peruse if needed? Yes Are the pictures and maps detailed? Yes

This is a good guide. It is easy to understand and the pictures are helpful. Yes you can find free guides on the Internet, but it's nice having a physical guide in my opinion.

This strategy guide is awesome. We been using it for the game and it helps immensely throughout the missions and chapters of the game!!! love it! we cant stop playing.

We were so happy to finally have another Lara Croft game to play!! The story line is great and it's fun to watch and play!

I bought this mostly for the maps though I tried very hard not use it. In my opinion, it is not the best for a total walk through so if you are trying to simply get through the game quickly without finding everything on your own, this can be a hit and miss guide. online options are better, however, I still like the book overall. Great pics, general info, and it's Tomb Raider, so, Enough Said!

The maps are very good and the walkthrough is very complete. A very good guide so you can get 100% completion.

the game guide for tomb raider is not that great, you can get more help on youtube walk through,beside the price of the guide is almost half the price of the game

This book is really useful if you have someone else playing with you using the book to navigate the game. Lots of tips and tricks.

youtube video guide guide is better than the printed guide,beside the youtube guide is free,the printed guide price always seem to cost about half the game also best buy doesn't buy back the guide,so your stuck with a guide you don't need once you finish the game.The game so far is a good remake of tomb raider

This book really helped me play the game, wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if I didn't have the book. Recommend to anyone needing a little help to play the game.
