Bought this to replace my bulky tripod and ut works very well. It fits inside my bag perfectly and this thing is sturdy enough to hold a Canon 5d mk3 with a 70-40mm lens.

I fit this tripod in a small backpack with my DSLR to take my motorcycle to scenic areas. Collapses smaller than any other tripod i could find and is still relatively sturdy.

This is my first tripod and I like it a lot. It could be a little lighter, but I expect that would have driven the price up a bit. The tripod is sturdy and it has twist to log legs instead of the clips. I personally prefer the twist to log legs and they work very well. The tripod has three angles for the legs and the last angle sets the legs perpendicular with the ground. This angle allows you to get a nice low shot and I didn't know about it before I purchased the tripod. It's pretty good for photography. There is no video head on the tripod, so don't expect smooth pans.

If you're looking for nice lightweight and sturdy piece of equipment this is it. It is identical to the Manfrotto tripod except at a sight better price point. I love the fact that it's light weight and very durable it even comes with it's own padded carrying bag. If you were to purchase this item you will not be disappointed. The only thing I would change is making more colors available to the consumer.

Exact same tripod as the $150 model I was looking at online except the sticker for the brand name. Cost was $49 instead...ordered it after looking at in the store a few days earlier and was at my door in 48 hours. Worked great on vacation at the Redwoods, camera felt secure in the mount and legs were sturdy. was easy to use. heavier than I thought it might be but wasnt too bad.
