Very good and sturdy tripod. The head is also good with 3 bubble levels. I use it for landscape photography and it suits my needs.

we were looking for a cost-effective trip-pod that could handle for our camera and our Matterport camera. This trip-pod is easy to use and can handle the weight of our cameras.

    Great Backpacking Tripod

I bought this tripod as I needed something smaller and lighter for backpacking. I was torn between this tripod and the smaller version by the same company, however since I use a full-frame camera with heavy lenses, I opted for this version due to it's larger weight capacity. I used this tripod extensively on a recent trip to Utah and am very happy with it. It's fairly light and straps to my backpack well. I would have given it 5-stars, but this tripod isn't the most stable in the world; sort of common in lighter tripods. I found hanging my daypack from the hook helped. Other than that, it's a great little tripod.

Product is very sturdy for our canon rebel and probably a bigger camera with big accessories. Didn't move at all with wind blowing 15-20 mph either.

Tries to imitate the MeFoto, but falls short

When it comes to buying tripods, it never ceases to amaze me why people will put thousands of dollars worth of equipment on something that they skimp on, financially speaking. This tripod is a prime example of that. While not exactly cheap, it has similar features to the MeFoto line of tripods, which sell for about $50 more. Overall functionality is straightforward and intuitive, with a sturdy feel and build quality to it. Where it falls short, however, is, in my opinion, in the most important place - where the plate attaches. The included plate seems to be a standard Arca-Swiss plate, the most popular plate used in the world, but it's not quite there. As a professional photographer, I utilize arca-swiss plates on all of my cameras, which are mounted to an l-plate for a wider range of use. I found that my Arca-Swiss plates already on my camera bodies didn't quite match up with the mount on the tripod, and while it held it fairly securely, it was difficult to trust $6,000 worth of camera and glass above the tripod. Long story short, if you use the included plate, you'll have no issues, however if you use plates you already own for various other reasons, as most photographers do, there are better options out there, like the MeFoto line that seems to be very compatible with any Arca-Swiss plate I've ever owned.

This is the best tripod I've had. It's solid and it goes up to my eye level height, which is what I needed in addition to a well-made product.

Bought this before a photo shoots and it came in really handy when I was going between each of them! Built strong and compact, the tripod also has cool functionality of the hook that comes out of the bottom. I went with this one specifically because of the two levelers! I think the price is somewhat high, but in comparison to others it's fairly priced.

I selected this tripod because every other tripod I own has an issue with holding my D300 and D500 in place. In a vertical position the camera starts to droop. not a problem with this tripod. the down side is the leg angle and height of the tripod. the tripod can be a bit unstable or can be difficult to get it high enough to see over a railing

I looked at a lot of tripods before deciding on this one. I was on a budget of less than $150 so many professional photographers would just laugh at that BUT this tripod is strong and does the job! I have a high end DSLR and often use a 150-600 lens without worrying about the tripod failing.

I have used this tripod for a month and have been impressed withe fit and finish. The head stays where it is placed without having to tighten excessively. The head rotates smoothly for making panoramas. My only negative is that you can only the tripod plate furnished due to the height of thr attatcment stud, so Arca Swiss plates will not work.
