I highly recommend purchasing this tripod for your camera instead of investing even more money. It will do the job and you will be happy with it. Very strong and fluid. I have purchased two of them. One supports my Canon 70-200mm lens and camera with great ease... Don't overspend, get this one for sure! Very satisfied customer! That D80GUY! (:

I have a Manfrotto tripod which works great and is very heavy duty. It is also very heavy. The Prima tripod is soooo much lighter and has all the functions of the Manfrotto. Plus, the Prima can be scaled down to use as a monopod. Also, because the Prima folds to a compact size, I am using this as my go to tripod now. Very good purchase.

I use this frequently, only complaint is that it lacks a handle for easier pans and tilts, but otherwise works great and does everything I need.

Beware! Product description is for larger model

The description and even the title of this product are incorrect. This is the 2nd tier tripod of the set. There is a larger one that is described in the description and the height (55.1"). But you will get a smaller tripod that has these dimensions and should be MUCH cheaper than what they are selling it for here.
