Good 80s horror from John Carpenter. Also stars classic actor Donald Pleasence.

This is an good movie to add to your horror collection.

Watched this movie years ago and have always enjoyed.

If your into horror movies this is a good movie to watch when your alone in the dark alone .

Lots of grain on this 4K. Had to turn down the resolution.

I did enjoy "Prince of Darkness," once upon a time. I'm a John Carpenter fan. But as a more mature viewer, the film is more a collection of scenes and scientific theories--involving tachyons!--stuck to a bizarre premise (what if the Catholic Church has been keeping "the devil" in a tube in a church basement in LA for roughly 500 years?) rather than a coherent tale. My main problem with this re-issue of the film is that it looks TERRIBLE in 4K. There was NO remastering done that I can see. On my big 4K TV, the dark scenes were full of visual "noise" and "artifacts." It looked like the film was transferred from a bad VHS copy to 4K.

It's lesser Carpenter, but not BAD Carpenter. Still interesting and creepy.

prince of darkness is another classic film from the master of horror and it is a good horror film with good story and good cast so if you are a fan of john carpenter films than i would watch this movie bc it is pretty good film to bad it was not a hit at the box office bc it was left open for a sequel like all john carpenter other films bc almost every film he has done is left open for a sequel so if you are a fan of his films than check this movie out and the blu-ray is well worth owning bc it looks and sound amazing and it has extras on it to and i have own it on dvd back when it was release in the 90's and all i can say is the blu-ray is ten times better than the dvd that was release back in the late 90's so check it out

This is among my personal favorites from John Carpenter. My wife and I love it! This is a must own for any true horror movie collector. This is a one of a kind classic! Alice Cooper even has a cameo in it. I highly recommend it! Also, some more of my personal John Carpenter favorites are The Thing, In the Mouth of Madness, and Cigarette Burns.

Having watched the film in Standard Definition I remember thinking how boring and flat this movie was. Fast forward a few years and enter Blu Ray and I can truly say that this film has truly benefited being in HD. The film now holds your attention. Partly due to John Carpenter's excellent eye for Cinematography.

This is the one of the Top 10 horror movies of all times, John Carpenter is a master, so this movie is a materpiece, movie has best soundtracks I have ever heard until now, ending is very exciting, make your beat faster. Ultimately this movie is horror movie classic!

Scream Factory delivers another complete package. The movie, to me, is just slightly above average. Not one of Carpenter's best. The presentation and extras are top notch, as always.
