Studio Ghibli...enough said

My household is a big Studio Ghibili fan. Princess Mononoke is a great film and definitely comes at life circumstances from a different cultural perspective. A lot of Japanese Anime is set with some sort of Dystopian feel to it, and sometimes it explains why and sometimes it just thrusts you into the middle of the conflict without much backstory. Princess Mononoke gets closer to that latter on that spectrum.

Good Movie, Could Have Better Release

Considering how all-out Disney went for Miyazaki's other films, this is a shame. But it's still worth owning for fans.
