Game play great, character graphics meh . . .

Dont get me wrong, the game play is as fun as I remember. I was expecting more from the remastered graphics. The backgrounds are beautiful, however the characters are ugly as heck, blurry and distracting. I should pull out my psp version to compare which character graphics look better. I expected more for a $60 game.

A cool collectors edition, poorly optimized ports

And with a cool collectors edition as well. The art book, cover and cd are all excellent in quality and were thr best part of the pack! Unfortunately, the core of the pack, the game is a bit of a mess. While Phantom Brave is based off a more recent port including a new alternate story mode. Soul Nomad is the EXACT same game with no nice Quality of Life editions. Something That honestly doesnt bother me. What does is how often this game crashes. It is a shame, it makes me afraid to leave the game idle for too long, at risk of it crashing mid battle. I would not recommend buying the pack unless they patch the game in the future. I say grab the two games on Steam during a sale.
