My wife have been fans of Prison Break for a long time, having seen the original seasons 1-4 so we were really excited to find out they were bringing it back for 9 episode mini-series! I pre-ordered this when it went on sale for $14.99 (a great deal!). Best Buy mailed the movie to me early as usual, got it in my mailbox a day before the store release date.
This "Event Series" does not disappoint!!! Most of the characters/actors from the original show came back. It also definitely continues the spirit of the original show, but has lots of new twists and turns that make it in some ways even more exciting (this is the first "Prison Break" that happens in a country that is in all-out war). So glad they brought this series back, even just for a few episodes!
