Tough to watch in some parts, but otherwise an excellent drama. The acting is first rate, specially by Jake G. and Hugh Jackman. As usual, cinematographer Roger Deakins gives the film its unique / realistic look. The director later gave us Sicario, another excellent film.

This movie was an unexpected surprise. The cinematography is stunning and both main characters did an excellent job with their performances. The ending was a complete surprise, even though there were enough hints on who did it. An instant classic, worth watching many times to come.

Excellent movie! If you're a parent especially a father you could easily fall into that roll! On the other hand it also has a relious aspect to the movie as far as forgiveness, which is very difficult to do in this day and age! Difinitly a movie worth owning in my opinion.

Intense plot with a twist, dark and intriguing, and excellent acting with a superb cast. I have always been a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal and I was not disappointed in his performance in this movie. Hugh Jackman was also excellent. If you do not like movies with a dark plot this may not be the one for you, but I was okay with it.

This movie has you on the edge of your seat from the start to the moment it ends. Quickly this movie became one of my favorites! It's an incredible story and you quickly become filled with emotions of the characters. Just do yourself a favor and watch it.

I love this movie. I didn't expect to love it as much as I did when I sat down to watch it. Jake Gyllenhaal is the reason why I gave it a chance. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal had very good character interaction and made it much more appealing.

The acting is great, Gyllenhall and Jackman are awesome at what they do. The suspense of the whole movie just sucks you right in and you actually feel as if your own child had gone missing. If I had to change one thing about the movie is the ending that leaves you wanting just a little bit more of a closure.

This movie was very suspenseful and made me as a father look at the actions the individuals were taking and say "what would i do in this situation" while extreme as a parent we love and support our children no matter what. Great acting also.

This movie seems predictable, but you'll get it all wrong. It'll definitely keep you guessing. You almost want to press forward just to hurry and see what's next. Pretty sad and happy and sad and frustrating. It might get to you for a while after watching it. You might even want to watch it a second time.

Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal are one of many stars in this revenge thriller. Some may not be able to stomach some of the film's more brutal moments, but it also raises the question on how far would you go to protect your loved ones.

Very rarely can a movie hold ones attention for a solid two hours but this movie was certainly an exception! It was filled with action and suspense and I was so glad I added it to my DVD collection as I will certainly watch it many times over.

This movie was suggested to me by a friend and it was everything that they stated. The story was amazing and it kept me guessing up until the end. I've watched it three times since purchase and suggested it to many friends and co workers

This movie was recommended to me by a friend and glad it was. I am a fan of crime mystery movies and this was definitely that. This movie will have you guessing till the very end and youll still be wrong ;) Go out and buy it now!

What would you do if your child went missing? Well this film answers how deep some would go to get their child back. This movie is an interesting film and good drama that will keep you intrigued to see what happens next.

I personally have not watched this but my brother has and he loves it. He can watch it all day if he wanted. He alwasy comes and tells me that its the best and that i have to watch it . So I say take a chance im sure it will be good because my brother is very picky about his movies.

Was an overall good movie, wish the ending played out a little differently. Maybe even a part two however, overall good movie!

I love this movie, i mainly got it because Jake gyllenhaal played a large part. And to be honest it's probably the most intense movie I've ever seen, next to Prometheus. So In my opinion, it deserves it' rating.

Hugh Jackman plays a father whose children were kidnapped, and he goes on a rampage to try and find them. Jake Gyllenhall is the police officer who ends up getting too obsessed with the case, and also goes off the edge.

This movie is so good I'm sorry I missed it in the theater. An extremely intense thriller. The cinematographer is the same guy who did The Shawshank Redemption so it is visually unique and stunning on bluray.
