Very easy set up. Sounds amazing. Much wider band than the step down model. I would highly recommend this for a first time vinyl player.

The Esprit SB is an upgraded version of the Carbon Debut with a speed box installed and upgraded platter. The former better controls the speed and allows for 33 / 45 switching with a button rather than manually changing the belt. The upgraded acrylic platter is sturdier and absorbs vibrations better. Set up took a half hour and a little attention to detail, now I just enjoy the music.

I wanted to dip my toes into vinyl. I thought this would be a good turntable to start with and was on sale. The set-up was easy. The build quantity is nice. It’s looks nice so was satisfied with with I saw. I was more surprised with the sound. It’s been awhile since I listened to vinyl and this turntable sounded terrific. I’m happy with the purchase.

This turntable make my decision to get back into vinyl, one of my better decisions in audio. The magic is back! Hard to believe just how much I enjoy this nostalgic adventure. Even the placing of the tone arm onto the record sets up niceley the audio adventure ahead. You won't regret purchasing a pro ject Esprit SB turntable!

This turntable is amazing. Sounds brilliant connected to my vintage stereo and yamaha bookshelf speakers. The Beatles look is far more subtle than the pictures online lead you to believe. Got this for 200 bux of list and i do not regret it one bit

Love the Beatles theme, solid turntable, but is a little difficult to get adjustments (skew/tracking), etc optimized

Great product, does the job very well. Use this product in combination with Marantz stereo amp. Great sound. Somewhat delicate to set it up, YouTube videos helped a lot.

Looking for turntable under $500 for long time but this turntable is unique design with Beatles. I have to buy one. Still look good.

The Pro-Ject turntable is an excellent addition to my stereo system. I haven't owned a turntable in years but this one plays the vinyl's well.

This turntable is amazing. Before this one I had a Fluance Rt80 (also pretty nice) and this turntable blows that away. I highly recommend this

Definitely a uniquely styled turntable. My guess is unless you are a Beatles fan you will probably not be looking at this one. But if you are, here are some of my experiences so far: I am a Beatles fan and love the style of this turntable. Setting it up was a bit of a hassle but after watching some tutorial videos online I was fine. The table does require an external preamp. I purchased a pro-ject preamp and have it connected to my Denon AVR x3300. The turntable does have an issue with "humming" that has been well documented on-line for pro-ject turntables. It is intermittent. It goes away though if I "jiggle" the ground cable connected to the turntable. So far that has worked. Keeping my fingers crossed. Otherwise, it is a fairly easy turntable to operate and the quality of playback is very good.

This is not an audiophile piece of equipment. This is a "I wish I could afford audiophile equipment". Sound from this thing is based on the system you are hooking up to. It does sound a lot better than Crosley ;)

You can't beat the sound quality from this turntable. The set up is easy too.
