Not cheap but well worth it. I bought this to teplace my much older entry-level Proform treadmill that died after almost 8 yrs of significant use (motor was fine but the belt twisted). This new one has a nice cushion to it and hums right along. Did take some time to put together and wasn't easy but in the end it was worth the frustration! Definitely worth it.

The treadmill developed a loud squeaking within the first few months with minimal use. A sturdy and quiet treadmill are the most important factors to me.
Also, if I had understood the need to bypass I-fit every time you want to use the treadmill manually I would have passed on this product. It requires you to select twice that you don't want to use ifit to bypass the service all on a touchscreen that is not very responsive.
The treadmill did arrive well packaged and was fairly easy to put together.

This is an attractive and well designed treadmill from the same parent company as NordicTrack. In fact, there is a very similar looking NordicTrack model but this one, I feel, looks better.
Before getting into a brief review, I would like to highlight the fact that this treadmill may need lubricating right out of the box. When we set ours up, it was fine for about the first week and then developed a squeak at certain inclines when I ran on it. My wife tends to walk so had not noticed but it was irritating to anticipate the squeaks on each footfall when the treadmill inclined.
I traced the issue to the screw underneath which raises or lowers the running platform. WD40 is no good for this - you need silicone lubricant. I bought some with a flexible tube as you need to put the platform in the storage position to get to the screw and then get the lubricant into a small space, onto the screw. I have done this twice now since owning the treadmill (4 months) but I also put a lot of miles on and the incline is heavily used as well.
That out of the way, the unit is heavy and requires a helper to at least move it to the assembly area. As some reviews have stated, some of the pre-drilled screw holes are missing which makes you over-think connecting the plastic trim. However, the screws themselves appear to be self-tapping so you can easily just screw them in to the plastic and underlying metal without too much hassle.
We had one part of the trim down on the floor which doesn't stay in place but is not really noticeable and does not cause any issue. I would have given 5 stars for quality if that was connected and all the drill holes had been present.
Since getting this set up in our workout room, we have used it most days between two of us. My wife does her own thing and isn't bothered with the iFit library but I have used the free 1-year subscription to do a lot of the series and taken part in some live 5K and 8K events. They even send you a medal if you complete and reply to the email that follows a live event!
I bought the optional heart-rate monitor which pair well with the treadmill. It is utilized in most of the iFit workouts so that it will speed up or slow down your pace if you are not in the correct heart rate zone for the expected effort.
The only real complaint I have is that the integrated tablet screen is a bit small and I struggle to read some of the data. The more expensive NordicTrack treadmills seem to have much bigger and movable screens so if I ever upgrade, I will probably head there. In the meantime, this is a great machine and was priced well. I will hopefully put many more miles on this before ever needing to upgrade.

The main draw for this item is its touch LCD screen but it can only play iFIT and nothing else. That worked for me since I’m already paying for it. The other benefit is its ability to connect devices through bluetooth for music and other media. The speakers are better than expected, (think JBL Flip 5 in terms of sound quality and peak volume.) i got this particular model because it can go up to 12 inlcine and it was cheaper than the nordictrack model.

After a bit of research I decided on the ProForm 2000 and I am very satisfied with my purchase. The treadmill is solid and checks all the boxes—fan, smooth running, good size screen, Bluetooth connectivity and plenty of workouts with a free year of iFit. Set up was not complicated and the hydraulic lift is an improvement from my old “push-up and latch.” I particularly love how the treadmill adjusts to the work-out you select, you don’t have to worry about incline or speed; iFit does it for you and tailors to your fitness goals. If you chose not to listen to the trainer, you can easily pair your phone via Bluetooth and listen to your favorite music. The speakers have a great sound quality and volume. I was given this treadmill at a discounted price in exchange of my unbiased and honest opinion.

Sturdy and well made treadmill. Setup was relatively straight forward but did require 2 people. Very easy to create an iFit account and add the year of membership. The fact that the treadmill has a screen in it was a bonus for me, and I have enjoyed all the workouts that I’ve completed so far. I love the live workouts, and challenges. Love the Smart Adjust that tailors workout to your skill. Overall, I am completely thrilled with this machine and I highly recommend purchasing. You won’t be disappointed! I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Great treadmill. The screen is plenty big enough. I love how automatically adjust to inclines and declines during the guided runs with iFit. The year free membership we got with purchase made this a great deal. Exactly what I needed. Also, easy to assemble. I saw a review that said 5 hours, it took 45 min and I was alone.

Haven’t been able to try out the treadmill yet but, there is some serious flaws with the assembly for this item. There are screw holes that are not threaded or even the right diameter to accommodate the screws! Thank god my husband is mechanically inclined and had the tools to enlarge the holes. Seriously, I wonder what would have transpired if I had opted for professional assembly because I am pretty sure those folks are not allowed to alter the product the way we had to in order to get this thing put together.
REALLY hoping the treadmill is eventually worth the trouble!!!!!

Thank you for your feedback regarding the assembly of this unit. We are sorry that some parts didn’t seem to match up properly. It is recommended to not tighten all screws until told to do so in the assembly process. This can help screw holes to match up as they are designed to.
Regardless, we want to make sure you have a fully working treadmill as soon as possible. Please email us at [email protected] or call us at (833) 680-4348 so we can assist you with assembling your unit.

You can use this without the iFit membership, and it works pretty well. I've only tried the trial iFit content which doesn't make sense for me to purchase. The screen quality is good, but is sometimes horribly unresponsive.
As a treadmill, it operates as you expect. The screen returns details on your calories burned, distance, and pace. You have to buy an additional heart rate monitor that you can sync to this if you want that function, as the treadmill does not have that standard. The fan also sits kind of low for some reason, and turning it on gives my lower chest a nice breeze.
Okay but here's the real problem. You may run into a step that you cannot perform during the installation. Some versions of this model are affected, and mine absolutely was.
Step #10 will tell you: Use #10 Screws and NO power tools. The holes were not drilled to this size. If you run a google search for "Proform 2000 reddit screw", you'll see a community post about the issue. It literally does not fit. We had to run to Home Depot to get #8 screws. The installation is defective by design and has NOT been addressed by Proform as these are still going out.
The iFit screen also shows at every start. It's a minor inconvenience, but with my 0 intent to purchase a subscription, it is needlessly obtrusive.
Lastly and a small complaint, there is no 5 button. You have a range of settings available to you, but you can only get to "5" by clicking the Up or Down enough. Kind of weird.
It's still a good treadmill overall, but there were some very obvious decisions they could have made for a better treadmill.

Best Buy's service and delivery was great!!
Proform treadmill, was a little disappointing. When we finished the assembly, we noticed a loose screw sticking out the bottom of the housing. Eventually go the screw out. Within the first couple of uses, noticed there would be clanking sound occasionally at start or end of the workout. Spent 2.5 hours on hold and then talking with tech support for them to send me a replacement motor. Had to do replacement myself. Didn't resolve the problem. I did some troubleshooting and found that there was something loose in the drive roller. Called and spent another hour on hold until I got tech support and they sent me a replacement roller. Now it's back together, but I had to do all the repairs myself and couldn't use the treadmill for about 3 weeks while the parts were being shipped each time and I found time to repair the treadmill.
Gave it 2 stars because now that it's working, it seems to be solid and works well. Just not sure how long until I find another manufacturing defect.

The treadmill works great and is very sturdy and well designed. The only issue I have is with the mandatory smart features. I would like the treadmill to simply have the controls and not rely heavily on the tablet/touchscreen.

Bought as christmas gift for my husband. We assembled. Screw holes in the 2 metal handles (left and right) are improperly sized, too narrow to fit screws. Several days of attempted calls to Proform customer support, had to wait long hours, and finally after 3 days we received return call. We were told to wait 2 weeks for 2 metal handles replacements.
We have not started using the treadmill yet as of this day, 1/15/2022.
