I bought it for my 16 year old son, and he absolutely loved it!!

Thus is a nice drone but battery runs out pretty quick but other than that its ok

I've had few drones,none of the high end ones,but this thing is all around great. Out of the box easy set up. Controls fairly easy for beginners. Video is acceptable. Battery life is darn good from what other drones ive seen.Plus you get a coupon for 50% off accesories from protocols website, so you can get a spare battery cheap.(I got one for 15$ shipped.) Flys outside fine, but It's light weight so wind is a factor, but range was good. Stable enough to fly inside of your decent at controlling it. Setting up phone on the controller was easy on my S8+ (Need to download app) . Overall just been satisfied with this purchase. If your looking for a drone for purely quality video and pics this may not be the one. If your looking for and fun, easy flyer with good battery life and decent video. This ones great.

This drone was dead on arrival. Best Buy was great about returning the product although I purchased it while it was on clearance for $59.99 Bestbuy now has it $199.99. I have no idea why they upped the price so much because this guy has absolutely poor camera quality and should you knock anything into one of the propellers it will immediately damage in Strip the Rotor gears as they are made out of cheap plastics. I will say Bestbuy I made my experience pretty easy on this one but I would recommend you take a look at other drones in the camera good drones

This is good for small spaces but not for outdoor use as it is super light and when is windy it goes away by the wind

Only worked a couple of times. We bought three of them and two of them went back to the store because they didn’t work. The third one only worked a couple of times.

Never calibrated to hover. My husband was very disappointed in this surprise Christmas gift. I got it 50% but it still wasn’t worth it.

TBH. I don’t really like drones it’s fun but controlling it can be hard. Funny cause the blade broke after a few use.

Bought this for my step son's xmas, and on it's very first start up, the drone flew away w/the controls not working or stopping the drone. He tried to chase it down but lost sight of it and could not recover the drone. When I called Best Buy, they said there was nothing they could do for this defect! Unbelievable disappointment all the way around.

I purchased this drone and only flew it about 5 different times before it glitched. While flying it the final time, the video connection and all controls disconnected and the drone took off and I was unable to control it any more. The drone flew so far that I still have not found it and I doubt that I ever will.

l expected more especially for the price that I paid.

After 15 minutes of flying the unit landed which was great but the charge time for 15 minutes of flight is poor. The rotar got snapped when it somehow got tangle and the unit is now useless now.

I bought this as my 1st drone because I wanted 1 to use when my friend is in town. He drives a semi over the road, and he has a much more expensive one than this. The one i bought had a bad gear in it, which resulted in it flying out of control and breaking another gear. This is what may be the problem with fly-offs. I contacted Protocol about the gear issue, and 5 days later I had new gears on it. It is still a bit unstable while flying, but I think it may be because it's so light weight and reacts to any air movement. Plus, it's classified as a toy drone, and it doesn't require registering with the FAA because it's under the weight requirement for registering. Overall, I'm impressed with the Dronium 3X, and I plan on ordering more batteries and extra parts for it directly from Protocol online. I also seem to be getting way over 15 minutes run time on a charge if I keep it set at the slowest speed, even with running the camera! I don't expect it to be like my buddies Mavic Pro, but I'll enjoy just as much as he does his! I also plan on buying more Protocol products, like one of their GPS models. My hats off to Protocol for promptly resolving my issue!!!

Really quite happy with this drone. It flew 15 minutes on one charge which is a big benefit over the few other drones I've tried. It handles easily and is steady. It also looks great, even from far away. I didn't try the app yet but will update the review when I do.

Very bad camera quality and very bad signal it automatically disconnects

Sorry but this drone is nothing but junk. Poor quality soldering on circuit board, the drone is too light to fly in any wind at all. The wind tosses it around like a feather. It is suppose to have 3 settings for the power/speed of the drone. I tried all 3 and didn't see any difference between them. I would not suggest this to a friend. For the money I spent on it I could have gotten a far better quality drone.

Bought this drone for my son who wanted one for his 7th birthday. It was a huge success he loved it and so did everybody at the party. Comes with camera, lights and extra parts incase they brake. The drone was pretty easy to operate and handles well. Me and my son and two other kids were able to fly it after the battery was charged which toke approximately 1 hour and a half to completely charge the first time. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Save your money! Buy something newer! Slow controls,not very fast! Don't buy! Worth no more than a 10 dollar Drone!
