This drone with camera is great for beginners. It's lite, not to big, easy to learn. It does pretty cool flips and speed mode on High is awesome. Don't expect to fly this drone too high or far. Still good for beginners to learn to fly drones. When it says battery life for 7 minutes, it's true. Sounds like a little bit of time but not bad. I get good amount of fun out of it. Besides I purchased a 5 pack of replacement batteries with charger online. So now it feels like endless fun. The camera shoots 720p, pretty nice color. The usb attachment that connects with ur 4gb sd card works great too, I connect it to my laptop or tv to view my recorded pics or vids. Also note, DON'T fly this when it's windy. The wind will take it away real fast. Other than that, I love this; my first drone.

Bought this drone for my son. Camera is very good. The drone is very lightweight so even a slight breeze will blow it laterally when trying to hover. The battery lasts only 7 minutes and takes over an hour to charge, which is pretty disappointing. To be fair though many drones have very short operational time unless you want to spend over $1000. I bought this for my boys to practice on before diving into s phantom 3. It’s a great starter drone and a lot of fun to fly. The battery only lasts 7 min though

I give it a three because I was expecting more flight time on the battery life. flight time is only 7 minutes per manual. a little disappointing. as for the camera, it does take clear pictures, but you do not know what you are taking of because there is no video feed back to your receiver. also, cannot fly on windy days as it is not strong enough to fly back to you.

This drone was simple to fly right out of the box. (With some battery charging.) Directional lights are helpful and the controls are responsive. The hover feature at the end of each ascent and descent command is ideal for beginners and the simple kill "Switch" is very usful for when things get too dicey. Body construction is durable and lightweight and portability is very good. Camera is reliable and steady in both still and video mode, and the memory card is easy to access and utilize after recordings..

This thing not only has a decent fly time, it is incredibly stable upon launch, easy to control, but also does a cool flip trick or two. The camera isn't excellent, but I would say it is on the better side of pretty darn good.

Purchased 3 of these and one ended up getting caught in a tree for 2 weeks. After it finally came down it was not broken and still worked. Takes some practice but lots of fun. Just wish the batteries lasted longer.

i only gave it a 4 because i have problems learning how to coordinate the remote control at this time i am 60 years old and that may play into it as well

I had to return my first one as it was uncontrollable. On take off it would immediately go backwards and just keep going. The new one works perfectly and is a great starter drone for all ages. It's fairly durable and comes with spare blades and blade guards. It is very light so the slightest wind will make it hard to control.

Was a little difficult to trim but once that was done the drone is readily flyable and fun. Camera is good but sometimes videos won't play back on computer....seems kind of random. Very light drone so ANY wind really affects flight but other than that it is worth it, especially if you can get it on sale. I would buy it again.

I bought this as the deal of the day from Best Buy and I think it was certainly worth the purchase. The toy does have a hard time if it's breezy outside, but so do most drones under $200. Because it can do flips and take pictures I would recommend this to anyone who likes to start off with drones a bit above average.

I had wanted one of these but most were cheaply made or too expensive to justify the amount of use it will probably get. This copter is well built has taken hits that have shattered earlier copters. Easy t learn BUT avoid days if wind is much higher than say 5 mph it becomes tougher to control. Great indoors. Battery life average I guess from what I read. Overall good deal and fun. Have not used camera yet.

Bought three of these, awesome product. My grandchildren absolutely love them! Fantastic price.

Pro - Fun and very easy to fly. Maintains desired height as advertised. Easy to tell which direction is forward and reverse. Con - Camera quality ok, not great. Battery doesn't last long. Range is weak. Over all a good quad copter for the price.

Got this on a deal of the day for a really good price. Wanted to see if I would like flying drones. Only slight problem is it is light weight and affected by wind. Best to fly on a calm day. Other then that flies easily out of the box

Did not want to put to much in a drone because I probably would not be using it a lot. Great price on sale not so much full price. Flys well on calm days struggles going against any wind. Looks good and pretty durable for cost.

I don't think that this drone is good for beginners. I know nothing about flying drones and got this one when it was on sale just to play around. It claims to have an auto hover and altitude maintainer features but those things don't really work. The drone would not auto hover and maintain altitude. This thing goes all over the place so you have to know how to use the controls properly to keep this thing in the air. How would beginners know how to do that? Also if there is even a slight wind outside then get ready to chase thing thing. As soon as this drone gets up in the air it goes with the wind. Camera quality is pretty bad but I expected that. The only positive is that after all the times it crashed on me so far its still in one piece. So this maybe a good cheap toy if you know how to use it but again if you are a beginner just trying to learn you may get really frustrated.

Bought this drone for my 77 year old father and he (with some help from a 10 year old nephew) became decently proficient in a couple of afternoon. Great fun to use and the sale price made it quite reasonable.

This is the second drone i have purchased. The first one I returned after it stopped working.

Got this for my 16 year old who wanted a drone...not a starter and not a pro version but perfect for learning drone basics and piloting. He loves the ease of flight, flying time, camera and altimeter
