I received this drone as a gift and like other reviews here, my drone flew straight up into the air and would not respond to the controls. This happened after I pressed the "land" button on the controller. There seems to be a software problem in the latest release of the drone. The drone is now gone. I flew it a total of 3 times before it left. So far both Best Buy and Protocol have been unwilling to help. Best Buy told me that there was "no product to return".

I received this as a gift for Christmas. I was VERY excited about it. On perhaps the 2nd flight it took off on its own. The command from the instructions to automatically land did not function. The command to shut off the engines in an emergency did not work. Nothing could get the drone to come back down. Eventually it went so high it got out of range so came down on it's own. I somehow managed to find it and it still powered up (It IS very durable!!). When I tested it again, it continues going up without my command and I had to try and grab it with my hand to keep it from taking off into space again. Efforts to contact Protocol for 2 weeks have gone fruitless. I hope that BestBuy reconsiders stocking this product, and I hope to find a suitable replacement that I can trust as well.

On second drone and both won't sync with the controller. Do not buy this drone. I'll be taking this drone to Best Buy and getting my money back. Good luck trying to get the company to respond to your emails.

Worked well for first couple of flights. Then would not sync with controller. Went through user manual to problem solve. Then on trying it again it took off no control and never to be seen again. Don't waste your hard earned money on this piece of trash. Find something else. Kid was destroyed. Now I have to spend more money and find something else.

When We first got this drone it would fly but the wind made it almost uncontrollable then It runs out of battery Coudent get much Flight time out of it 60 mins of charging for only 6 mins of flight time, not a great ratio after maybe a total of 50-60 mins of flight time The drone Flys into Space and never comes back and does not respond to any of my commands This drone is TRASH

I flew it outside only two times, the second time I flew it only about 20’ in the air and I lost control and it hit my house and one of the wings came off.
