look. theirs so much to cover. bottom line, i bought a hubsan drone for 60 bucks and it has an HD camera and the thing flies like a dream and is even more durable than this drone. 200-250 bucks for this thing was a ripoff compared to whats out there. keep looking.

Brittle

This thing is made from the most brittle plastic ever. It is a great performing drone in every way. Just don't plan on EVER crashing it.
I was in a wide open field with grass that badly needed to be mowed and it dropped from about 20 feet. The entire plastic body is cracked in several places. Not to mention the innocent incidental bangs and mishaps that will surely take place. Make sure you stock up on propeller protectors (sold separately) because those things may as well be made out of balsa wood. The little tab on battery door broke off in my hand trying to put the battery in and that had nothing to do with the crash. I'm telling you, the engineers that designed this set out to formulate the lightest most brittle plastic the world has ever known and then made a drone from it.

There's a problem with these drones

I bought 2 of these drones, 1 for me and 1 for my nephew to give him as a Christmas present. We charged them up and flew them on Christmas Day and I was impressed at how well and fast my nephew learned how to fly it. We had our fun the first charge and charged them a 2nd time and he went outside to fly his again and he started flying it and up up and away it went and never came back, it was lost. I still have mine but am experiencing the same problem with mine that he had with his, the drone will not respond to the controller and yes I did read the instructions, there is a problem with these drones, don't buy them unless you like throwing away $250

My son purchased this with his birthday money. It took about 20 minutes to assemble. It flew much better than the cheap drones he has purchased in the past. He did break one of the blade protectors on the second flight - they are pretty flimsy. the mount for the phone was also broken in the box. All-in-all a decent mid-range drone.

My daughter put this drone together which takes about an hour with many tiny screws and pieces. She charged it over night like they recommended and the first time it went up it came down and rolled for about 3 feet and tore the propeller guards right off on 3 of the 4 sides. She just looked at me and cried. I try to return it the next day and Best Buy said they can't do anything about it and to contact the manufacturer. Best Buy was rude and not willing to help at all. This is the top of the line drone at the store and it is worth like $10 in my opinion.
