Cheap
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote is made of very cheap plastic and the battery cover broke just getting the batteries in. The drone lost a propeller on the first flight and after replacing it, it doesn't fly straight and we can't correct whatever the problem is. We have one from Brookstone that cost the same, but is much higher in quality. I will be returning this as soon as I can.

Great start drone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great starter drone. It lets you practice your skills. The controls are very sensitive, so you have to take your time. The battery life doesn't last very long though.

Ok for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It flys pretty well, but crashes most of the time when trying to land. The constant crashes causes it to break propellers and then it won't fly straight or at all. Then you finally fix the propeller for it to crash and break again. And the cycle continues. But it was entertaining for a little while. Overall, for the price it was pretty good. But now it lives in the drawer.

This is not an appropriate toy for an 8 year old.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought our 8 year old one of these for Christmas. It only lasted a day. First of all, it never seemed to charge correctly, even following all directions. We took it back and exchanged it for another one. That one charged correctly but only lasted about a week. This drone is way too sensitive for an 8 year old to handle and it doesn't do what it is supposed to do. We would not purchase this again. However, we've never had success with remote flying toys.

great for a younger kid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son loves it, he is 10 and would not be able to fly a larger drone. It is delegate and shouldn't be used where it could fall far or down stairs.

Fun for a quick flight around the living room.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a few other quadcopters, but I'm not an expert flier by any means. I found this fairly easy to fly. The directional control works well. The altitude control is a bit harder to use, as it also incorporates rotation. It's hard to get it to hover. One of my favorite features is also it's Achille's heel. There is an external charge connection on the side of the quadcopter. This makes it very easy to charge the device, without having to remove and reinsert the battery. But, this also means the battery is not removable. With my other quadcopters, I can fly for 20-30 minutes by simply changing out batteries. With the Neo-drone Mini, you are limited to the flight time of the battery, which is around 6 minutes. The propeller guards are a nice feature, and help prevent damage on a crash. They also limit the amount of hair or lint that gets tangled in the propeller. I've only flown this indoors. Wind could present a problem if flown outside, due to the size of the quadcopter. Basically, this is a fun little desk or living room table toy to play with for short periods of time. The frustration level is fairly small, compared to other smaller drones I've tried.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This quad was a hit for my 3 yr old. A little smaller than expected but did the job nicely.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a bad product for the price. Product didn't respond as thought to be. A bit to delicate for playing with outside

Pretty easy to fly with practice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not bad for an inexperience drone operator to get a feel for playing with a drone, although the more expensive drones have more automated functions. Still for the money its pretty good. You need a good sized room to operate it or you will be limited.. Not as easy to control as the Propel Proton Micro Drone.

Good starter drone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is fun playing with it. It is very small though. At first I thought it was flimsy, but then realized that that is how it survives the falls. Good value for money. The battery is not too strong. You get 15-20 minutes out of every recharge.

Good starter drone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good drone to start on and cheap to fix. Trimming the unit out was the hardest part took about 2 hours of 6 minute flight to adjust. Need to keep the props free of debris. We have long haired dogs and the drone picked up every hair that we couldn't see and wrapped it in the props. Slowing the unit down.

Fun but challenging
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun to play with indoors. Too small to break anything except propeller blades. Hard to calibrate. Very short flight time. Good precursor to a beginner drone for anyone who has never flown an RC aircraft before.

Small
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was fun while it lasted. Got stuck in my daughters hair on more than one occasion as it’s difficult to control and any slight breeze ruins flight. Only recommend using inside.
