Gift for husband, flies great for price. Battery life is short, only 6 minutes

Great helicopter had hours of fun wish the battery lasted a little longer tho

The Protocol Predator SB 3.5-Channel R/C Helicopter is a great looking helicopter and it's size/design allows for controllable outdoor flight HOWEVER this R/C aircraft has a MAJOR FLAW...it is designed and advertized with full functionality, which includes a strafing control feature. this enables the helicopter to remain facing forward but slide left and right HOWEVER the servo, control arm, NOR Remote allow you to do so. When I was attempting to adjust the trim to correct a constant strafing issue i discovered that there is NO servo or arm to control this. it had the connections for the servo to attach to the rotor shaft, but it only had a screwed in piece prohibiting that function. This wouldn't have been a big issue if it wasnt for the fact that the helicopter was improperly trimmed and it was ALWAYS strafing right. It is literally impossible to correct due to the missing servo and arm. No amount of adjustment with keep it from always flying to its left because it is simply not adjustable. I flew it for 2 minutes and returned. For outdoor flight, invest a little bit more and get a chopper from a Hobby store. There are helicopters the size of phones that can handle outdoor flight while this one couldn't get itself straight.

It's a great helicopter to have for a starter. Only thing I can knock it for is the time you charge it and the time you can fly it

Had fun for about an hour, then it broke in rear section while attempting to land. $100 per hour was an expensive intertainment experience. I could have gone to Disneyland instead. Would not buy again or recommend buying -- breaks too easily.

This helicopter is a great easily controlled manuverable flying helicopter.Just wish the battery lasted longer for flying time.But besides that great product for the money.

I have been looking for a high quality helicopter, for a while now, and I finely found the right one. You can take this outside, and the wind doesn't even effect it. It is MUCH better than I thought it was going to be!

This isn't for a child and u need to be pretty good at flying before going outside while there is wind

I found this helicopter easy to trim and fly. It is a little underpowered in slow mode. One drawback, the trim settings are reset when you turn of the transmitter so each flight you need to re trim before takeoff. This causes a reduction of flight duration.

Fun to fly, but a little disappointed in the battery fly time compared to recharge time.

Has been flown like crazy and dropped hard when landing bkuz husband is learning to handle and control it. He and our son enjoy every bit of it

I brought the helicopter for my son as a Christmas gift and for young teenager he was very excited about it and overall it works well as expected easy to use with no issues.

Fun remote control helicopter. Takes a while to figure out remote but works great. Downside offers coupon for replacement parts.

Easy-to-fly helicopter made a great gift for my son's 13th birthday. After a few tries and minimal adjustments he was off and flying.

This helicopter has held up against my rough handling. It worked coming out of the box (after charging of course). For the price. I am very happy with this model. I had purchased a smaller cheaper model elsewhere but the rear struts bent on my second flight and it never flew correctly. The rear struts on this one are much stronger and I have not had any issues with them bending.

We have used this Helicopter for two months and it has taken many crash landings that we were sure caused damage, but every time it had only minor scratches and still flies perfectly. Love the light feature for flying at night!. Easy to learn commands and loads of fun with the 12 minute run time and 20 minute recharge time.
