Great game. Story is deep and interesting and the writing is top-notch. Physical packaging is nicely done as well (includes a set of physical character cards).

This game has gorgeous art and a hauntingly beautiful story

Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly plays differently than other otome visual novel games in a good way. The game uses a flowchart system to make the story branches and choices easier to navigate. This system also allows the player to jump between the main plot and the available short episodes at any time.

We need more of these visual novels to be localized here in the USA. These are huge over in Japan.

good game, a bit different but good. still getting used to this series

I would first of all point out the cards packaged with the game as being very pretty and you get one for each character. Word of warning to those who have not played this type of game: it is an interactive novel. The gameplay is choosing who to go with at certain times in the story and some screen tapping when butterflies appear so the conversations are what carry this game. There is a slow point in the beginning but if you can power through it is a very good game. I really liked the ability to unlock side stories/interactions or go back and replay a chapter without loading different save files. In my opinion, good game for first timers or experienced players of the otome format.
