With a full tank running on high the water lasts about 2 days.

Wow what a difference this makes in our house well worth the money

Said it was for a large room but i don't know if the volume output is covering the whole room or not. In my opinion, it's just an ok humidifier.

The output was good - it got the 2 gallons out in 24 hours. But whenever I refilled the tank it left a 2-3 inch water puddle on the floor. I'm not sure if I had a defective unit or if it's just a bad design. Also there was no option to bring water to the unit, and a 2 gallon tank is a bit cumbersome for a petite lady such as myself. I ended up returning it.

This should be a good humidifier but the one I got had problems. Night light feature did not work. Humidity output adjustment didn't work. Was basically stuck on high at all times. On paper it looks really good.

So I got this because Ive been wanting a humidifier that had UV light bacterial protection. Because with ultrasonic humidifiers it just throws up tiny droplets, bacteria and all. So unless yer a stickler on cleaning out yer tank constantly you could be adding some crud to your air every time you run it without a good clean in between water fills. So figured with the UV light I wouldn't have to worry so much about constantly having to bleach the tank because the light would disable the bacteria from reproducing. Alas.. after purchasing I find out the uv light only comes into contact with the air at the bottom of the base as its being drawn into the humidifier, before it even meets up with the mist. Have to say I was disappointed but that what I get for assuming. The wording on this site leads one to believe its the mist being "cleaned" no its just the air. so all in all its just a pricy humidifier that holds a lot of water and yeah it can clean some of the air that goes thru it.

Does not produce warm mist, as promised. No cleaning brush supplied. Does not allow for 2-way mist, as described in Owners Manual. But worst of all, it did not raise the humidity in my small apartment even 1% after running continually on "Hi" for 24 continuous hours - and I do have an accurate room hygrometer. It's going back to the store.
