I've owned the original rift, quest 2, and now this. I use it for steam VR and meta games (however there are more games on Steam and the quality is much better if your PC can handle it). This headset is hands down my favorite of all 3. The quality can't be understated when playing a Steam game (like half life alyx) on high or ultra settings. I found myself getting lost in the virtual environment, in a good way. I can't wait to see quest 3 exclusive content to see what it can do on its own.

Best quest ever. I also own quest 1 and 2. Getting better every version. Worth the monies.

A great way to transport yourself out of reality I say, so that’s already a 10/10. It plays well and is up to date on graphics and capabilities and best of all its standalone so you can get quality as it is rather using a pc.

MEH. Maybe it's because this was SO hyped up by influencers (or maybe I need to invest in Rx lenses) but today's one month out and overall, I am underwhelmed. the graphics seem pretty much the same yet the 3 seems MUCH more light-hungry than the 2 was. At least, based on the number of black screens I get with the smallest turn of head while wearing the headset, anyway. I am having my ceiling fan repaired tonight to give it a try in bright light; if I still have trouble, I'll be rushing to the store tonight to try to exchange my defective headset for a new one. I do enjoy the MR and I got the 512gb (my 2 was only a 64gb) so the extra space is great but those are kind of small upgrades for the price. Overall: If money is tight and you're happy with your 2, you can wait until the price of the 3 drops some.

I held off getting into VR because I didn't think it was where it should be. When Quest 3 came out i decided to give it a try and i have enjoyed many hours exploring different games and applications. It has something for everyone of all ages. Most games you can just sit on the couch and play so you dont have to stand for hours. You can even watch movies and YouTube on a big screen. I would recommend trying it out even if you're not a gamer, you will find something you enjoy.

This is just an awesome vr headset, it comes with amazing graphics, storage and qualtiy. I have so much fun with this playing with friends. Really recommended buying this!

Great experience with the Quest 3. I've noticed several improvements over the Quest 2. Only real negative thing to say would be the battery life, but that is to be expected for a device this powerful.

I only play one vr game Population One have since Jan 2021 have a Oculus Quest 2 also. But graphic visual on the Meta Quest 3 is amazing. Battery not great at all. So still question my purchase. Hoping that issue can be fixed though.

Bought this as a gift for my wife, and she loves it. She pretty much uses it every day. She wanted it because she saw beat saber and thought this would motivate her to be more active

I gave this to my son-in-law for Christmas. He says it is amazing. My daughter says it hurts her face a bit, but there are other straps that can be ordered to help with that.

Great VR headset. But had to get extra battery to make it last longer. Internal battery does not last long.

Coming from a Q1 this is a significant upgrade. The visuals are much better and crisper. I tried the mixed reality game that comes with the Q3 and I have to admit it was pretty cool to see. I was impressed with how it mapped my room and the debris from the game interacted with a cabinet. I know others have mentioned terrible battery life, but for me I haven't run into that issue maybe due to the games/apps I use and keeping play sessions to an hour/hour and a half.

Good product, I have had no problems in its operation

I am a senior citizen. Bought this for my Grandson. I have tried it out and may be using it more than he does. Powerful immersion into being somewhere else and not here. I have not tried a lot of very active things but the sheer idea of going to the North pole or about anywhere and feel like you are there is amazing. Only complaint is it takes a little time to get many of the small nuances of getting around figured out.

I saved my money for my extra job to buy my grandson the meta-quest three for his birthday Christmas present being Christmas December January his birthday just brought tears to my eyes when he opened it he loves it so much such a new experience for him

More comfortable than quest 2. Color passthrough view is also higher resolution and is great for mixed reality games.

So lets get the negative out of the way. My first unit had a dead pixel almost dead center in the left lens. Bestbuy let me exchange it with no hassle, but Meta should be ashamed that they are not checking these headsets for defects and shipping them out the door. Now lets get to the good part. Honestly everything. Tracking is alot better. Games like Blade and Sorcery where you have to reach behind your head to hostler or draw weapons from your back no longer freaks the game out and actually functions very well. The Quest 2 also seemed to just lose track of the controllers randomly where the Quest 3 so far has not. The image is noticeably more clear thanks to lenses being able to be adjusted. Performance in games that aren't updated for the new hardware don't seem to run much better though. So there has been some hitching or lagging in games like RoboCall. Still playable and a good time. One neutral opinion would be the headband. If you have a larger head you might get headaches from this head band. For me I'll definitely be replacing it once one is available. Meta moved the charging port onto the left side of the headset right where my aftermarket headset strap would go. So I'd have to drill a hole in it to use it with the Quest 3 or remove it when wanted to charge it via usb-c. Not cool Meta. Not cool. I still recommend it. It's just all around better than the Quest 2.

Loved the new lenses, they really give a whole new feel to the vr world. Quality is a huge upgrade and overall love this product.
