Actually bought another one for friend. Pass through in color is great, but would not recommend using it to read off other screens, things are blurry and hard to read. Otherwise, its amazing!

It's a well built device and the technology behind it is remarkable. Mixed reality is disappointing (the image is very grainy)

Meta support helped and fixed the first problem. Then a second problem popped up. They helped with that but that problem keeps coming back. Once those bugs are worked out I'm sure it will improve it. The graphics are way improved. Games look really neat so far.

You can be transported to even the most remote places of the world with the headset- from the deepest depths of the ocean, to the highest summit of the tallest mountain, all from the comfort of your couch!

Amazing experiences, but slightly over-priced

The quest 3 to me is really just beginning to break the surface of what is possible. The update from Quest 2 is worth it if you have the spare cash, but I wouldn't say its mandatory.
