I am thoroughly enjoying my time with the quest 3. So far the Mixed Reality feature, while a bit grainy in lower light, has proven to be a worth while addition. In fact, I truly wouldnt want to use another headset that does not incorporate pass through. Its a convenience, once used, youd always find a need for. Quick drink of water, bite of food, or even grabbing something you just set down is easily possible. Besides all this, the graphics do appear to be held back, when titles are targeting all headsets or both q2 and q3. This is something i imagine will subside once we get further into the Q3 generation. All these standalone features and you can still hook up to a PC for maximum graphical and processing output. I consider this device a win, in most areas and would argue that its definitely a worthwhile/ worth spending upgrade from the Q2. I hope it can attract enough of an audience such that VR gets more serious finacial backing and more intrest from our favorite IPs in gaming. To conclude: The quest 3 has me enjoying VR experiences, but has me looking forward to the future even more so.

Upgraded my Quest 2 to the Quest 3, LOVE IT! Smaller controllers for your hands are much nicer. The graphics are better and simple to use. Feels lighter on my head and love the meta horizon + that came with the Quest 3!

I really enjoy the quest 3, it has a lot of games to choose from and ot is very interactive. The setup on this is very easy and the eye tracking is an awesome feature to use. During gameplay the battery does not last that long. I would hoghly recommend getting a longer charger or battery packs. The strap and face should be exhanged as with time during gameplay you will feel discomfort from both. Overall compared to the quest 2 I really enjoy this model and it looks significantly better than previous models.

Very good headset so far. Better field of view than my HP Reverb G2. Quality is similar in flight simulators, my primary use. Could be a bit brighter and the color balance seems a bit on the blue side. Good value for serving as a dual purpose stand alone and pc vr headset. Image not quite up there with the Pimax CrystalScan, but neither is the price. The outside world passthrough was the clincher for me. The strap needs a replacement. You read about this on the reviews and it is true. Bought a BoboVR S3 Pro. Difference is night and day. I would buy this headset knowing you are going to spend a few bucks to make it a lot more comfortable. Meta should have caught this out of the gate. Battery life is short, but Meta says the new software will extend life some. Personally, 90 minutes is about enough for me, but some may need more time than that and you will require an external power source or battery pack to get that.

Great quality VR. Only thing is needs to have longer battery life. Recommend getting the headset for longer playing time

Enhanced graphics and customization in profile. Very fun but still limited on different games and apps as it is all offered through Meta. Unless you are really dedicated to using a certain app, it can honestly get kind of boring. I would suggest getting attachments as the headset is uncomfortable and need an extended battery for longer playtime. Feels more comfortable than Meta Quest 2.

I made the decision to purchase the Quest 3 on release day. I am very happy with the performance, sharper visuals, and better boundary setup which helps you NOT run into things when you are playing games, whether it's a heated boxing match or a realistic shooting game. The hand tracking is better and the mixed reality/passthrough is wonderful and life like. All in all this has been a worthy upgrade but I do have to take a star away for the strap which is still uncomfortable and a complete money grab attempt by Meta to force you into buying their Elite Strap. Battery life is about 2 hours as well which is not ideal. Despite these two flaws, I do not regret the purchase as this is the most unique gaming experience out right now. Get it, you won't regret it.

I've had many VR headsets, this one is great because 1. it's wireless and 2. mixed reality is a blast to mess around with! Battery life is okay, but can be expanded easily. The best thing about it though is that it's COMFORTABLE. If you've used a lot of headsets, you know that usually you have to swap things to make it ergonomic. The Q3 is pretty cozy right out of the box, made even better with the elite strap.

Really fun and immersive. The floating menus with the mixed reality is so cool it feels like you’re in the future. Graphics are great and games are very varied.

Fantastic item, definitely a great upgrade from the oculus 2. Would recommend for anyone who wants a quality vr experience. I would recommend the comfort strap / battery pack combo tho.

The VR works great on its own. Set up is detailed and effective with teaching basic uses. This was purchased to use specifically with PS5. It is not, however, simple to pair\use with a PlayStation. There was also some delays in comms, that translated to some glitchy VR. Possible dedicated SSID for the comms between the meta and PS would help. Wireless should not have been an issue. Verified 1.6 Gbs speed- WiFi 6 with Nighthawk cable modem router. If I was not looking for VR specifically for the playstation and easy to use for children I would have kept this. However

Always a very pleasant experience at Best Buy! Their people are always on point very helpful ready to assist. Had the Quest 3 in-stock Regular VR headset user here recently upgraded from the Quest 2 to Queat 3 and I am so glad i did! Played the old one until it was falling apart lol. The graphics, features definitely better. Way more user friendly and one of the best parts for me the headset has more ways to adjust for comfort and is lighter weight.

Great fun. My 9 year old is slowly getting the hang of it, def harder for kids to master as you can’t see what they see to walk them through it, but maybe that’s a good thing so they can develop problem solving and be more comfortable with technology. So from that perspective it’s also a win. I have the store easily locked so no accidental purchases, and so far she’s loving every chance she gets to use it. Battery life isn’t horrible but it def isn’t a 4+ hour usage device without getting a battery pack add on. This isn’t really a negative in my book, because I only let her use it an hour per day, but it MIGHT be a knock if you plan to use it for longer durations of gaming or video watching. My only knock would be the supplied headband, not super comfortable for anyone in my house. I bought a $30 padded replacement with a sizing dial off Amazon and now I have no more complaints.
