I got this for my 16 yr old son for Christmas and he so loves the 3, no issues, easy online ordering with curbside pickup. He was so shocked and amazed when he opened his gift. He has already ordered accessories for it.

Me and my boyfriend decided to upgrade from the meta quest 2 to the meta quest 3, we only got one of them for him, to test it out and it’s amazing. The graphics are so much better and it runs so much more smoothly and quickly then the 2, we plan to come back and buy another.

I have been wanting VR for awhile. The quest 3 was seamless with my steam link with American Truck Sim. Plus all the games you can add to the Quest itself. Clear quality and runs good. Stock headband sucks and the battery life could be better. But a 3rd party headband with extended battery makes it even better!

This thing is crazy fun. Great work out games for not just the kids, but for the adults in the house also. The only issue I have is that the games are a lithe pricey, and do not come with tutorials. The battery typically only lasts around 2 hours and so if you need to extend your game time, you'll have to purchase the extra battery pack that attaches to another head piece (also pricey). I'm happy with the purchase, and hope we get plenty of play time with it.

Really good headset for the price. I think it comes with a lot of features and tech for the amount you’re paying. I will say that playing it as a PCVR isn’t the best experience with a link cable. I think it’s more meant for staying alone.

I had been on the fence about purchasing on of these headsets. I had a Valve Index and i was wondering if it would be worth the upgrade. Im very happy with the Meta Quest. The screen is really clear! The screen door effect is very minimal and really not that noticeable at all even in menus. This has been a great upgrade from my Index. I would definitely recommend getting the new strap for it, it makes it a lot more comfortable. This is very easy to use anywhere and to setup. Even if your not tech savvy this is really easy to use. This is a great gift or just if your into Virtual Reality this really makes you feel as if you are in the world you are exploring. This makes for a great escape when you need to!

So I’ve owned this device for about 3 weeks now, during the end of week 2 I encountered proximity sensor issues where it would like cut out because it wasn’t detecting my head or face or something. But they seem to have mostly gone away? If you’re using this for pcvr be aware that meta quest app on pc is TERRIBLE, sometimes it requires a complete pc restart to link to the quest via cable and it’s just tedious and annoying sometimes. The headset itself has good graphics quality in my opinion but also a not so good battery life, it lasts around maybe 2ish hours when not plugged in, but when plugged into my pc using pcvr it lasts for about 5 hours. Which is enough for me to enjoy. Standalone quest hasn’t given me any bugs so props there I guess, but this thing is tedious for pcvr through meta link app. 1 more thing the cable it comes with is not a link cable, I recommend finding a usb 3.0 plus cable on amazon recommended 16ft.

Best virtual reality experience out there. Graphics are really good. Headset is comfortable but I would recommend purchasing an upgraded head strap.

Was unsure about the upgrade from the first model. But it really is visually better, happy I also went with more storage as the game sizes are also pretty big. Only reason it loses is a star, price could be more affordable. But best buy shipped so fast.

Lighter and pass through is better than the quest 2 but face mask part slips on occasion. But in my opinion very good

Not only does my son love this, I do too! I’m thinking about getting my own. I don’t know the words to use…graphics? Specs? Whatever it’s called are amazing. It’s like actually being in the video game. We’ve had the Quest 2 and the PlayStation VR and it doesn’t compare to the Quest 3 by far.

We recently purchased the Meta Quest 3 for our son’s 10th birthday, and it has been a huge hit! He absolutely loves it and uses it every chance he gets. He previously used an older model, and he immediately noticed how much better this one is. The virtual experience is smoother, more immersive, and the graphics are a big upgrade. The setup was straightforward, and the controls are easy for him to understand. It’s amazing to see how engaged and excited he is while using it. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase, and we’re very happy with the Meta Quest 3. Highly recommend for kids (and parents!) looking for an upgraded VR experience.

My son really likes it. It seems to work very well and the young lady that helped us with it at the counter was phenomenal. Very nice. Very polite knew her job very well and had us in and out in less than 10 minutes.

This is really cool. I don't really use it stand alone, I connect it to my Steam account and play my VR Steam games on it. It really works perfectly. Non VR games work great to, it is like playing on a huge screen. I've played 3D movies and that works okay, but plays several types of formats. Google Earth is really fun. The eye pieces are adjustable so it works with all types of eye spacing. I haven't noticed the screen door effect because the resolution is high enough to hide it. I bought the BoboVR S3 to replace the strap to mount to the head. It fits better than stock and has an external battery. I can only play for a little while because I get a little sick, but others don't. I got one for myself and one for my son. We have a blast!

Coming from PSVR, VR technology has definitely improved tremendously in the past 10 years. Even older titles like Beat Saber and Pistol Whip feel more immersive and smoother.

It’s hard to find any real negatives with the Quest 3 — it’s a clear upgrade in every way compared to the Quest 2. One of the most important improvements is the lenses. This is exactly why it’s worth upgrading to the Quest 3 and not the Quest 3s. The 3s uses the same lenses as the Quest 2, which means you won’t get the full visual experience that defines this new generation. Personally, I’ve noticed a big difference — the improved clarity and comfort make it way easier to use for longer sessions, and I don’t get motion sickness nearly as much as I used to. If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely recommend the Quest 3. It’s the first headset that really feels like it gets everything right.
