The only downside is the slightly uncomfortable straps; you'll have to buy that accessory separately. Otherwise, 100% recommended.

Not to mention the mixed reality games are definitely worth a try!

Glasses user friendly

But the Quest is by far the best VR headset I have had the pleasure to own and use! The pass thru is great, the augmented reality is really cool (and awesome in games), and the resolution of the Quest 3 is superior to all the others. If you are upgrading, I would highly recommend the Quest 3. The 3s is good, but the 3 is the best thing out there. Well worth the added expense!

Fun for kids

Great headset

The quest 3 is better in every way. It's batter lasts longer, it doesn't freeze or glitch as much, it tracks better, it can be used without a controller by tracking movement, the lenses have a way higher display. It's a great upgrade from the old one for sure.

Nothing Like Gaming on a Quest 3

It's make flat-gaming almost undesirable although I DID buy Battlefield 6 just yesterday! Half-Life Alyx is the single best game for the Quest 3. I highly recommend it along w/the Quest 3 for the ultimate gaming experience. The controllers work well, battery life is excellent on the unit and controllers, and I would also recommend that you add an optional additional battery that connects into the headstrap. That will provide you with multiple hours of gaming. Yesterday, I also watch live NFL football on Amazon Prime via the Quest 3. It was like watching on a 100" TV. Very cool. Lie in bed and watch TV/Movies. Can't go wrong. Get it now! ;). PS: Go for the extra storage. I didn't and find myself uninstalling games because I run out of storage. It's worth it.

I usually play PCVR games, and the visuals on native Quest 3 games are getting really good compared to their PC counterparts. In some parts it's not all there yet, and games still do look better on PC, but the bridge is closing.

An Unbelievable Upgrade - Goodbye Wires!

The answer is an emphatic YES. This device is on a completely different level, and I am blown away. The first and most obvious game-changer is being completely wireless. After being tethered to a console, the freedom of movement with the Quest 3 is liberating. There are no more tangled cables or fears of tripping—it completely elevates the immersion in every single game. Visually, the pancake lenses are a massive improvement. The entire display is crystal clear from edge to edge, with none of the "sweet spot" hunting I had to do on the PSVR2. The full-color passthrough for mixed reality is also incredible; playing games that integrate with your actual living room feels like a glimpse into the future and is something the PSVR2 just can't compete with. Being a standalone headset with 512GB of storage means I have a massive library ready to go anywhere, without being tied to a console. If you're coming from a PSVR2 or any other wired headset, this is the upgrade you've been waiting for. It's a truly next-generation experience.
