Not bad at all for PCVR

VR Desktop ftw. Other than that coming from a PSVR2 its great. Just wish the stock batteries were rechargeable and not an upgrade.

Overall its also pretty good for multitasking while doing work if you don't have multiple monitors and don't plan on getting more monitors, because even without any additional apps you can have 3 meta browser windows open side by side at once. Things to keep in mind: Mixed Reality isn't as clear as shown in ads. Get a new strap for comfort. I recommend the Destek strap for quest 3 (no built in battery, but great comfort). If you want one with a battery I would recommend either Aubika, BoboVR, or Binbok. Get a battery pack that supports 9V 3A out. Get a cable that supports 30W PD. (So it charges faster than it uses power). Get a new facial interface (waiting for VR Cover to release theirs), or at the very least a facial interface cover to cover the default interface. Tip: make sure to setup a meta account and claim a ref from anywhere you find one before setting up your headset, to get credit for games.

I got a 3s also so my wife and kids could play as well. This system is better though if you can afford the upgrade.

Despite not having the OLED screen like the PSVR2, the image quality is arguably better, due to Oculus’s lenses and PSVR2’s mura defect. Wide angle FOV and a good fitting seal makes for an immersive experience. Pass-through is an amazing feature. The hand tracking is on point. My FAVORITE part is the audio and microphone. REALLY HIGH QUALITY for no actual headphones. And the mic is supposedly very clear according to friends I play with. Dont skip it if youve been eyeing it.

Overall nice quality entry level VR headset

Battery life only got to 2 hours at most at launch, but software updates have upped that in most cases by a reasonable amount. Lots of fun and a good way to get me out of my chair. Strap that comes with it isn't great, as it will get uncomfortable after a longer play session.
