If you are just getting into VR and are buying a headset for the first time then i would suggest getting the Meta Quest 3. If you own a Quest 2 already then you need to decided if your gonna upgrade now or later. The potential for what the Quest 3 can do is limited to what the Quest 2 can do. At some point support will end for the Quest 2 and we will really see what the 3 can do. I love the color pass through and it makes MR more immersive. If you like VR then you'll buy a Quest 3 eventually the question is how long can you hold off???

The vidro quality is good. The audio quality is really good. Its a great experience for anyone. Pretty cool to have a theater sized screen on something that fits on your head.
You can play games or watch movies. Very interesting experience.
I gave this 4 stars because it needs a better head strap and battery life.
Other than that its a great product!
Thanks for the great review for your new Meta Quest 3!
We see that you could use some additional comfort and battery life, so we would recommend grabbing yourself a Quest Elite Strap with Battery to solve both of these concerns.
As it provides a more comfortable fit and feel, along with up to an additional 2 hours of extra battery life for longer gaming sessions!

Fun but a little lacking in comparison to higher end VR headsets. You get the most of it by hooking it up to a really high end PC for the best experience.

One had the Quest 1, 2 and now 3. The third one really raised the bar with better lenses and graphics as well as the mixed reality feature. My only issue is with the app selection not really changing much. But as for the hardware, I like it a lot.
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to leave this excellent 5 star review.
We really appreciate the positive feedback and are thrilled to hear that you've found so many uses for the device. Not bad for such a small device!

Overall a pretty good experience with the horizon 3. Love the Xbox game pass compatibility, and great for streaming shows. It’s like having a movie theatre attached to your face.
The only downside is if you wear glasses, this is super uncomfortable. But attachable prescription lenses are available.
We're happy to hear that you're having a good time with streaming and gaming in the virtual world. We can't wait for you to jump back into your own virtual theatre to watch the next movie!
We know that a lot of users who enjoy gaming in the Metaverse wear glasses, which is why we've tried to make it as accessible for everyone as we could. If your frame dimensions is a width of : 142 mm or less with a height of: 50 mm or less, then you can use the lens spacer that comes with your Quest headset, which will provide a larger fit for your glasses, so that you can comfortably wear the headset with your glasses.
If your glasses aren't the aforementioned dimensions, then attachable prescription lenses is the best option for comfortability and a great gaming experience. You can read more about this in our Help Center with "How to wear glasses while using Meta Quest".
We wish you all the best with your virtual theatre and Metaverse gaming. Have a fantastic day!

Too many bugs and battery drain is horrible

Honest review here. First the PROS - it feels smaller and lighter than the Quest 2, as you would expect. The Passthrough is awesome and there are more and more games incorporating it into the game for an 'augmented reality' type game. The controllers are smaller and that is nice.
CONS - My headset FREQUENTLY locks up and reboots when I join a party. When it freezes, it is very disorienting and I don't get motion sick in VR. The battery drain sucks, even plugged in playing something simple like CATAN VR I am at 83% battery after 2 games. I used to get through 1 game of Walk About Mini Golf on my battery and have a bout 20% left with my Quest 2, now on my 3 I have to plug in by the 15th hole because I am at 5%. The lenses are blurry, I do wear glasses but have never needed to on my Quest 2. For my quest 3 things still seem a bit blurry.
Overall I am very frustrated with Meta, when they pushed v59 it killed my Quest 2 and made gave it the no-passthrough black screen. They have offered no support and only offered a discounted refurb unit. My GF plays quest with me and got me a Quest 3 because she knew I wouldn't buy one when I felt wronged by Meta.

This is the best stand-alone headset for VR right now. I am playing this every day. The 512 GB memory is plenty of room for even bigger games. The pancake lenses are crystal clear and worth the upgrade if you have a quest 2. Pass thru on this is clear, perfect for mixed reality. Top of the line!!

Best VR around. I had the Quest 2 and loved it but the 3 comes with so much more to be loved. I am so addicted to my 3 that i bought an extra one just in case something happened to my main one and I had to wait to get another. Try it you will LOVE it

Awesome 3d experience. I spent a lot of time with my Girlfriend in meta quest. We play games together and watch movies together like we are sitting beside each other. I would highly recommend this to couples who are not living in a same place.

I've loved the Quest 3 as far as its library of VR titles goes; there's plenty of variety and the quality of the visuals themselves is outstanding. I bought the Silicone Facial Interface but actually went back to the default one as the cloth feels better to me personally; I plan to switch them out though when I share the headset with company as the silicone cleans more easily.
Beyond this there are a couple of issues I feel are worth mentioning. First, as many other users online have already noted, the Passthrough feature seems to be "mileage varies"; even with what I consider good lighting it tends to be grainy, albeit still good. Reading text off of a TV, PC, or phone may require bringing yourself up close to it. In short, it's functional but nowhere nearly as crystal clear as Meta's demo videos showed.
The next issue is with the headset's design as far as interfacing with either the Elite Strap With Battery or the Link Cable. I say "either" because you're going to have unplug the Elite Strap With Battery anytime you want to use the Link Cable to play PCVR titles, as there's only a single port. I can't believe this is a mere oversight (even though presumably your Quest 3 draws power from the PC when using the Link Cable); it's enough of an annoyance to mention here.
Lastly, for anyone wanting to use their Quest 3 wirelessly with PC to expand their available library to include games such as Half-Life: Alyx, be aware that D-Link's Air Bridge may or may not work for you, even if your PC meets all the criteria. For some folks demoing the Air Bridge on Youtube it seems to work flawlessly and easily, but for me it simply refused to connect despite being detected by both the PC and the headset. I had to return three of them before finally giving up after exhausting every troubleshooting idea I could find. Since then I've tried the Virtual Desktop app (which costs a fraction of the price) and had much greater success.
Overall the Quest 3 is a very good VR headset though, and the advantages of its being wireless and self-contained also can't be overstated. I definitely recommend getting the 512GB model over the 128GB because I've already filled almost 100GB of its storage already with less than a dozen games.
We're glad to hear you've had a great experience with your Meta Quest 3 so far, and we're glad you agree that it's the future of media technology!
It's perfect not only for gaming, but also for a personal cinema too!
We're wishing you all the best!
