Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This does add additional play time to your Quest 3, HOWEVER, if you want to connect this to your PC using a Quest Link cable, this product DOES NOT pass through data. You will have to disconnect the battery cable and connect the data cable from your PC directly to the headset. So unless you purchase a Quest Link cable from another brand (which there are several good ones out there) that you can also plug a charger into and deliver both data and power directly to the headset, you'll be limited to the standard Quest 3 battery time. This really should be in the instructions or product description. It took me 2 hours of jacking with it to figure out. Poor design choice Meta.

There's a lot to experience on the Meta Quest. The Meta Store offers a huge range of apps designed for other ages too, so maybe we'll see you in the Metaverse sometime soon?

If you’re more solo than it’s worth it or even not having to charge your device as much.

It don't hold a charge, sometimes it don't charge, and it drains as fast as the headset. It will guve you a extre 35 to 45 mins thats if it stayed charged overnight. And it lacks indication showing that it's on or not. This headset could be so much better and everything a person should want but it's not

We understand that your Elite Strap with Battery isn't extending your Metaverse experience by much, and we're keen to help see what we can to help.
The Elite Strap with Battery should provide around 2 hours of extended gaming time, depending on how much power is being used.
However, if the LED is not lighting up, this would usually indicate that the Elite Strap low in power. As charging the headset with the strap attached will prioritise charging the headset first, please try charging the Elite Strap separately for about an hour to see if this helps.
We hope this helps, however, if the problem is persisting, we'll be happy to take a look at the issue further for you over at 'Meta Quest Support.'

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that the battery status and charging state is integrated into the quest itself. That is awesome. However the fact that the rubber head rest keeps on detaching from the strap is unacceptable. I have had two of these that end up doing the same thing, Thank God I have Best Buy Total and they will swap it out for me. If you have this happen and deal with Meta directly you have to go round and round with the customer support verifying that you aren't dumb then you have to send it to them for them to eventually send you a replacement. I'd say its better than the 3rd party battery packs because those actually just act like chargers when you hit a button, and aren't blending the batteries but this one sure could use a redesign of how it attached the back rubber interface to the strap.
