Great Functionality, but known defect

Where the arms of the strap begin near the battery pack, one each side there is a tiny screw to attach pieces together. This screw frequently becomes loose and pops off and the product support takes weeks to address. This has been going on since 2013 and they know this and still sell it. The screw is incredibly tiny and if lost renders the product useless. It is also an incredibly difficult screw to put back in if you do find it and requires a very unusual shape/size screwdriver. When it is working, the strap and battery pack are a game changer. It fits wonderfully and adds significant extra usage time. Without the defect this would be a 5 of 5 must have. They have acknowledged in their support that this is a known problem however for years and continue to sell to consumers a product with a known defect.

Good fit on head and like the balance

I like the balance with the battery on there and also the extra time I get. I thought I could get by without a battery but I would probably be running out before I was done with a session so I'm glad I went with this.

Too heavy, Battery needs constant recharge

For my son who is 10 years old, the strap does not fit his head even on the smallest setting. After using it for about 1 year now, the battery needs to be charged constantly. The 2 hour extra playtime was only good for the 1st couple of months but then the battery kept dying after playing for about 1 hour.

It really extends the ability to play and play, and play. When you have multiple people that play on it or if you are on a long quest, this battery can handle it! I was worried that the weight might be a hinderance for my 9yr old, but she has had nothing but positives to say about it.
