I've used Quicken for over 25 years, and since Intuit bought the company, I've found more and more issues. The biggest issue is many of the financial institution downloads no longer work correctly, get error message saying not my issue but never works. I tried to reset, deactivate and activate downloads. nothing. And the more to a subscription model makes it more expensive, as I used to upgrade every three years or so.

I like quicken as it is easy to use and to customize reports. I use it for church reports, and 1 other organization as well as for personal use. I can put tags on the categories to single out different items. I do wish they had a report that was budget vs actual.

If you are familiar with Quicken and have basic businesses then this is the package for you. Familiar interface and relatively easy to get up and going with tracking your business alongside but separate from your personal accounts.

Great product, this has helped me tremendously. I get to look at my finances and am able to save money.

Had to go to Quicken support to obtain activation code. Spent over three hours installing program and I'm still not sure that I have purchased the program as opposed to renting it for one year. Time will tell.

Having this program I have been able to save my money and exactly where it goes and track anything that has to be tracked it is wonderful

I had Quicken years ago. It seems harder to find what I want to do like Estimates and designing my own Estimate forms. Could just be that it is a new way of doing things for me.

My cc info was stolen from the bestbuy website when I made a one and only purchase. A few days later I checked my statement and noticed 2 additional charges to my cc. I called bestbuy immediately and they apologized and helped me take care of the problem

Used quicken since 90's. Migrated to home and business when I started my consulting practice. With years of categorized income and expenses, I can easily see, review and report where I earn $$ and spend money. I also use it for invoicing clients, tracking rental finances, planning retirement and filling taxes. I've looked at alternative software options but quicken still meets my needs for overall financial management.
