Couldn't manage my life without it

Quicken

Purchased for my father for Christmas as he refuses to convert from Quicken finances to online banking options. Feel you can do everything Quicken offers on online banking sites.

Accounting software

Upgrade was almost painlesss!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had read horror stories about upgrading to the new Quicken 2019 subscription. I was running the 2016 version. I started the installation and it failed almost immediately saying it couldn't delete my old files. I called Quicken Support and Paulo answered almost immediately. He led me through the process of downloading some software from their website and removing the old files. He said I should throw away the CD that I bought and download the Quicken Premier software from the Quicken website but to hold onto the Activation Code. He stayed on the phone during the entire process until the product came up successfully. He was great to deal with and very knowledgeable. I use Quicken Billpay and asked what I needed to do. He gave me their number and I called them. You need to sign up for a new account online and once it's been approved you can cancel your old account. You can continue to use your old account (Billpay) until then. If you don't do this you will be billed the $9.95/month fee that you should not have to pay if you buy the Premier version of Quicken 2019. Their support was great. I'm a long time Quicken user.
