I purchased this product to update to the latest version from the one I had which was a few years old. When I purchased this product, there was no mention of the fact that it did not allow for importing of old Quicken data. The information has since appeared on the Quicken website. It was disappointing to have to start over from my install date, but Quicken's return policies are too big of a pain in the butt to deal with in order to move up the food chain to the next higher version in order to import my old data. I would only recommend this if you were new to Quicken or didn't care to import your old data.

First off I was told by employees at the Apple store and Best Buy that this software was only available as a download with no CD in the package. Upon opening the package, low and behold there was a cd to install the software. Install was pretty smooth but my biggest complaint is not being able to add to my investment accounts unless you upgrade to their more expensive software. Since I do not use their automatic banking/investment download system I find this frustrating,I can update my accounts myself. In this way the old Quicken was better but it would not work with my new OS. Over all its not too bad but wish that they would make a basic system for those of us that don't want software to do everything automatically.

Very easy to write checks and keep a great record of same.

This product is okay for a beginner but for anyone who wants to keep track of details, they should purchase the premier or higher depending on what they wish to keep records of. Basically just a bookkeeping record but not for financial investments, etc.

I have used Quicken for over 20 years. My finances are not complex. However it is helpful to be able to easily gather necessary data at tax time. It also helps to keep track of my budget and where my money goes. I've never had a problem with any of the Quicken versions I have used.

Not a fan of the 2 year upgrade software cycle as I like to use editions that don't always require software subscription purchases. Price matched this to Walmart and got an excellent buy. Product does what I need it to do - track credit card expenses on OS X and other cross platform.

Bought this to load on my new Windows 10 PC and it is proving every bit as functional as my previous editions of Quicken. I use it as my checkbook, although I'm not trying to tap its resources to run my retirement funds. If you already use Quicken or if you're looking for a program to help you meet your household budgeting goals, this is a good tool.

Good update to Quicken, but quicken changing to a subscription based product is really sad to see. I can understand limiting program updates to a certain length of time, but I don't like having to resubscribe every two years for another hefty fee.

I don't need a really fancy bookkeeping system to keep track of my checking. This product does a whole lot more than balance my checkbook. Lots of really nice features, and easy to use.

I switched from a PC to my MacBook and had to get used to the differences; however, I think the differences were more based on the outdated version I was using compared to the 2018 version. Once you setup bills, income, credit card info, etc., it is very easy to monitor expenses and upcoming bills. I like the look of it too.

I first started using Quicken years ago when it came installed on a computer I purchased. The only part of the program I use is the registers for keeping track of my savings and checking accounts. I makes it so easy and fast to reconcile the accounts. I always know exactly how much money I have in each account.

I had Quicken 9 but my files would not open when I bought my new computer. Had to buy a newer version but it wouldn't open the files either. Talked to the sales people on the floor who turned me on to an intermediate site with Quicken 13 which converted my files and allowed me to open them in Quicken 18

I had been using Quicken since 2003 and had to upgrade since I have a new computer with different Windows. Purchased the basic software and was able to get my finances uploaded automatically directly from my bank. Very easy to use.

This is my third go round with Quicken. It is not the most intuitive or convenient program, but it does keep your records straight and is pretty good at auto-back up so you shouldn't ever lose much of your information. I guess I'm just not as excited about a budgeting app as I should be!

I have used Quicken software a number of years for my checking account. It keeps me informed of updates and I have faced no error in keeping up with my accounts.

I’ve been using Quicken for years and “downgraded” to the starter version and it does everything that I need it to do for tracking and organizing my personal and business finances.
