Connect it to onkyo receiver and Klipsch sub woofer in my home theater room. Awesome sounds for the price.

For starters, I love Klipsch speakers. I have had RF3 towers for years. I got these for my office/den because I trust the brand and their size fits much better in small rooms than bookshelf speakers. They are SOLID. I have owned speakers bigger than these in the past that weighed substantially less. If you hang them on a wall, make sure you anchor your screw properly.
Connections were made fairly easy. Push the pin in and insert the wire. Nothing fancy and no worrying about tightening binding posts.
These won't surpass having your traditional giant speakers, assuming they are of good quality, but they will fill a room, or a house, with crisp sound.

I'm personally really disappointed with Best Buy's speaker choices. They don't really have as many kits as you'd expect nowadays, and I blame this sound bar generation for taking up their inventory space.
That said, I previewed these speakers at my local store where they had them set up, and I was really impressed. So I took them home, set them up, and these things blow me away. They don't look like much, but their sound is crisp, loud, and clear. Amazing for the price. Amazing at twice the price.

These speakers have such clear crisp sound. I have been very impressed with the range these little buggers can reach. I would definitely recommend getting a sub with them as sometimes the bass can cause them to make an odd whooping sound (i.e. when the enterprise goes into warp in Star Trek; Into Darkness). Once the sub was added the quality of sound has been incredible!

Was planning to buy Bose speakers to replace my old Jamo speakers, see the klipsch speakers reviews and the price was very good $275.00 5 speakers , next is going to be a kiplsch subwoofer to replace my Jamo 150 watts , the speakers are very loud with a solid sound , if you are Bose fan , this is the same quality speakers for a much better price .

I replaced my old speakers with these and I am very happy with these speakers. I am using these with my Yamaha receiver. Make sure you get the latest version V of Quintet speakers since I see some other retailers are advertising the old speaker for the same price. The only disadvantage is you cannot get an individual speaker if you are looking to add 2 speakers for 7.1 setup

I thought my receiver and speakers needed to be replaced. I purchased this system on a whim and imidiately you could hear and feel the difference. I have now decided to wait to replace the receiver. The only down side is that it is difficult to find additional speakers for when I upgrade to a 7.2 receiver.

Having purchased a new Sony Receiver and Klipsch subwoofer, I new it was time to upgrade my old Yama ha HTIB speakers. The difference is night and day. The sound is so much... more. Clearer. Sweeter. Fuller. The difference is profound. They are 8ohm speakers, so they will push your reciever. They are efficent, so almost any reciever will be fine. So I found a store that sold the Quintet V center channels individually and bought 2 to complete my 7.2. Home Theater. These speakers made me grow up. No more ghetto Home Theater. I ran my speaker wire in-wall. I invested in a 3 chair home theater type furniture. And all this has me thinking... The improvement based on just speakers alone... what happens if I buy a Marantz SR5009? So that is next. Then the 4K TV upgrade... Pretty soon, I won't be leaving the house at all.

I bought this set mainly because I wanted to replace my center speaker & the surrounds. This kit from Klipsch is very, very impressive. It's also much smaller than my old Center Speaker with superior sound.

For the size these speakers do a pretty phenomonal job, granted you won't quite have room filling sound without a subwoofer but that's the subwoofers job to do that, but getting back to these little powerhouses. They are small, deceptively small, but the sound they put out is pretty large, they have some weight so you know they have large magnets. You can turn these up HIGH without any distortion, and klipsch backs it up with a guarantee, buy these you won't go wrong!

These are excellent speakers for an entry level home theater system. You can really crank the volume and there is no distortion, clean crisp sound the whole time. Pair these with a 12" sub and youve got a room of sound. They mount on about any vertical stand with ease and and connection is a snap.

Bought this for my living room and even with an old receiver they sound amazing. They give a full range of sound from such a small yet stylish design. I was originally skeptical but I am glad I bought these to replace my Polk Audio set.

This Klipsch Quintet home theater system features 4 satellite speakers and 1 center-channel speaker with Tractrix horn technology for crisp, detailed audio over a broad soundscape. The price is very reasonable and the size is perfect to fit in any appartment or house.

I have been using a set of surround speakers that came with an old Sony htib for nearly 15 years. I was upgrading my receiver and saw this matched set. I decided to make a purchase and prayed my wife would understand (using a portion of tax refund). Once I hooked everything together, I was bowled over by the sound. All my movies sound amazing. Highest rating and I heartily recommend them to anyone looking for a great matched speaker set.

Got these on sale recently and replaced my old 5.1 speakers with them. The sound difference is dramatic. They are quite heavy for the size, indicating substantial magnets for the drivers. The sound quality is outstanding. I am not an audiophile, but compared to the speakers I had in place (from an older surround-sound-in-a-box set) there is a night and day difference.
Without going up into the real high-end speakers, I think these are the best value for the money. You will not be disappointed, especially if you can get them on sale.

I was downsizing from my Klipsch F3's, which by the way I didn't want to part with and are still sitting in my other room. I looked for months to find something comparable to replace my towers while gaining floor space. although alone these didn't do the trick, I added an in-wall sub to go along with these and am very happy. Take the time to learn how to set your receiver properly by bypassing all low frequencies to the sub.

I bought these, because I was forced to. We remodeled and with it came a built in that had no accommodations for the Polk floor standing speakers and accommodating center and rear speakers. I used to get a lot of complements on the old setup, so while I liked everything about our remodel, I was in no way thrilled about downsizing my speakers. Well, such is life, so I read review after review about all small speakers and a few were impressive, but nothing said I was going to love them.
I saw the reviews for the quintet and thought nothing could be that impressive, but in was out of options and these seemed worth a try. If I didn't hate them, I could most likely live with them. I was a bit disappointed with the connection terminals, and the fact that heavier gauge wires are tough to attach, but a bit of solder on the tips and I got 12 gauge wire to fit. Now for the sound....
Wow! These things can put out some sound. I have my old Polk PSW505 sub running with them and my first impression was that nothing, absolutely nothing was missing! As a matter of fact, like some have said, there's more to my music than I was hearing. I thought the previous reviewers were comparing them to their previous junky speakers, but I was comparing them to Highly rated Polk R40 towers and F/X300i rears. The klipsch leave nothing out. I cranked them and kept cranking, till It was way too load and no break up, just full, rich, clear sound. I don't miss my Polks one bit. These things sound even better.
Absolutely amazing. I can't even say amazing for their size. I haven't heard a pair of compact speakers this clear and smooth, ever. Thank you Klipsch. Now the wife has the look she wants and me the sound I want. Best of both worlds. Did I mention I don't miss my old speakers?

Surprising sound for relatively small speakers. My circumstances were that I already had a sound system, so I did not need a separate sub-woofer. After trying some other products, I am very pleased with the purchase. I particularly am amazed at the improved sound quality for my CD music collection, such that I am listing to old favorites and hearing things I never heard before. An additional consideration is that the additional depth provided by the added five speakers permits listening at a lower volume without compromising the depth of the music field.

These speakers amazing with the quality of sound that give. They aren't too big so they do fit in smaller areas then my past systems I've had and they are very nice and sharp looking.
