This is one of the best shooter i have ever play. Especially this comes with cd & other collectibles. Got to have it

If you do not like side scrolling shooters thin this is not the game for you. it is a fun game but can be hard. other than the game you also get a cd of the game soundtrack and a collectors book. I have not got a chance to play the game much but it is R-type, so if you liked R-type, Super R-type I think you will be at home and like this game. If you do not know if this is the game for you try the demo. When I get more time with the game my review might change.

No series evokes cold, alien strangeness like R•Type, and Final 2 continues this great tradition without missing a beat. If you’re new to the series, prepare yourself for an expert blend of rote memorization, twitch reaction skills, and quick-thinking tactics. If you’re a veteran, you’ll most certainly love the best gameplay elements of Delta and Final coming together in one slam-bang package. Buy with confidence.

One of the best Shmups for any system. This game has a very unique power ups and pretty nice graphics. I love the challenge that this game provides me.

The best PS4 release in a very long time.. Re-live the R Type experience with updated graphics and sounds..... So much fun to play .. Remember, games should be FUN

Been waiting to buy this game for a little while. Waited for the price to come down but it never did. Bought it anyways and love the game. If you like horizontal shooters then this is for you.

This is my first time playing R-Type since the SNES. I don't remember the games being so difficult but it is rewarding at the same time. Its a good game to jump in and out of for some classic shoot em up action.

Fun game. Finally a R-Type for the new console. However, this game is tougher than than ps3 version.

LOVE the R-Type games! The difficulty (on the highest setting) is insane, but fair. Been a while since i spent so many hours in a shooter. Recommended if you are an R-Type fan or you like your shooters more on the strategic side.

I’ve been playing R-type since the PlayStation. Always a great shooter, and this one is no exception. The IFE is a cool little set, and worth the purchase. A great update for a great shooter. Don’t miss out!!

Love this game, it stayed trie to the R Type franchise. If it aint broke dont fix it. Amazing graphics to go along with an amazing game. Highly recommend pickimg this up

Excellent game. Classic side scrolling single player shooter. Many different play styles ad many different vehicles to play with. Only wish it had online co-op play!

Super excited to get this, played R-type Final on PS2 and always look forward to next episode, here it is! Worth every penny!

This game is really, really, really hard! If you're looking for an easy-going shooter to relax and sit back and play, then this isn't the one! Probably one of the hardest games that I've played in any genre but that is true to the R-type series. Tons of ships and aesthetics to customize. Overall probably not for everyone unless you're a die-hard shooter or R-type fan.
