If you want wall-mountable that does not need to be several feet away from the wall, this is the unit for you. It seems to help with dander and dust, but not aromas...and is very quiet. For the price, unsure if I would purchase again. The jury is still out on that one.

I adopted 2 kittens and forgot how allergic I was to their dander. That combined with my seasonal allergies made me a very unhappy boy. This solved all of my issues. I use it in a 600-700 sq. ft. room and it works great. Very easy to clean and maintain. My only issue is that replacement filters are expensive but that's only once a year and well worth it.

Excellent quiet air filtration

I immediately had a reduction in my nasal allergies. It really is quiet. It senses when the air is stirred up and kicks in harder at those times. I have one in the main part of the house and one next to my bed. The main one goes crazy working when I cook. The bedroom one kicks up higher when we move around or do things like change the sheets. When we go to sleep, it also goes to sleep and powers low and turns its lights off. The front filter needs to be washed off once a month. The other filters---and there are a lot of other filters, need to be changed out after a year of continuous use. I found the pack of filters for $85.00, so for a year that's a pretty reasonable cost to keep the air filtered. I'm pretty happy so far.

This product definitely helps, but it doesn’t completely solve the problem. It is very quiet and does seems to freshen up the room that it is in quite a bit. No ozone smell coming from the ionizer either. Overall it’s a great unit, it just might not be a cure-all if you have allergies, but it will help.
