I LIKE this game. I like sim driving titles. The cars in Race Pro have a good feel to them, and they react when you tell them to (unlike some other sluggish sims with far too much understeer exaggeration). But the physics are not as great as SimBin proclaims. When you slide the rear of your car in this game, it's seldomly correctable. Counter-steer all you want, and it's not going to help. That feels completely off to me. And the physics for the 4 wheel slides are just plain wrong, as the car goes skating off in a weird, unnatural rocking motion like a leaf falling to the ground.
The audio in this game is truly some of the worst I've ever heard. Simply weak, and will leave you shaking your head in embarrassment. Gear changes sound like bird flu phlegm hacking, and all the audio clips pop on and off abruptly like a little kid finding the sound effects buttons on your synth keyboard. It's disjointed, jarring, distracting, and disappointing. There is no pit crew chatter, just a guy who mumbles whether you won or not at the end of the race. Sounds like a placeholder audio clip that they never got around to replacing.
The graphics are bland at best, and do little to keep up with current gen titles.
The other cars' AI is severely limited here, as well. If they ram your car, they just keep plowing ahead as if you aren't there. I've gotten stuck on the front of an AI car as he just pushed me around the track as if nothing unusual was happening.
Where are the bells and whistles and polish to the game as a whole? This game feels as bare bones as it gets, and leaves the gamer feeling as though they've been playing a very early beta.
I enjoy playing this game better in Time Trial mode, where I can just race against my own ghost car. But the ghost car becomes completely opaque when more than 6 inches in front of your car, so your vision is completely obstructed if you like to play in cockpit view mode.
Many have said this game is too hard, but I haven't found that to be true yet. Not any harder than any other driving game from what I've seen so far. But I haven't deliberately tried to test myself to the limits yet.
In general, I still have to say that Grid is easily the best car racing game on the 360, followed by Dirt, PGR4, then THIS game. (I didn't forget Forza, I just don't like it.) Race Pro is just very lacking in so many ways. But it's cheap! So, for me, it was still a decent buy to entertain me for a bit. But, if you don't own Grid, get THAT first!

If you are curious about PC Sim Racing games but are reluctant to spend for an expensive PC rig then you have to get Race Pro. It gives you a glimpse of PC Sim Racing.
This is the first Racing Game on the xbox 360 where you actually feel like your driving the car. The sound effects are also the most realistic. When your driving at the cars maximum speed you really feel it reaching its limits - the engine really sounds like its taking a beating and the rattling of the car's body frame are evidence of it.
You will hear many negative comments about it from people who enjoy arcade racing games. If you are tired of arcade racing games and are looking for something more realistic (the way the car drives), Race Pro will not disappoint.
