Specifications read 9x13, but it's really an 8x12. It also weighs 2lb, 3oz. Nice that it has heft to it, and the finish is good, but it's more an alternative dinner plate as compared to a platter. Goes well with our Fiesta ware. I'll keep it though, cause it was on Deal of the Day for $12. $40 is outrageous! Check out my pic to see how it sizes up to my Fiesta.

Rachel Ray rectangular platter (agave blue) was bought when it was a daily deal special. The color is great, if you like blue, but I was surprised at the size - I thought it would be bigger, I should have checked the measurements before I bought - would definitely not pay full price for this size platter, but I am happy with the sale price, and would recommend to friends. No shipping problems, and product received in excellent condition.

I like all Rachel Rey items. This platter is nice quality and heavy, but on the smaller side. I thought it would be bigger but still fantastic looking. I debated on buying more to use as single serve plate settings. I bought these as Christmas gifts.

Bought 2 platters which were for gifts but unfortunately they were smaller than I expected. Great color so I decided to keep them to use for appetizer plates for company

When I read this was a platter, I was excited. The color is beautiful, and it is a nice plate. But I would not call this a platter. I did not read the size description, but I should have. I have used it, but not for my original use. I use it for small things, like appetizers (fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, but not entrees like chicken. The plate should not be called a platter, but a serving dish.

Look nice, a little smaller than I thought, wanted to surprise my wife to add a couple of additional servers for thanksgiving. She still liked them.

These platters are well made; however they are the size of a large dinner plate. I would not call this a platter.

Beautiful color on this heavy, sturdy platter. Be aware, it is small. I bought 3 to use as plates and love them for that purpose. Wait for a sale price to purchase.

This is a nice little platter but I was picturing it to be a little bit bigger.

This platter is nicely made, and looks great on the table. I can also keep things warm because it can go in the oven.

This is a nice Rachael Ray stoneware construction platter.

I owned two of these “platters” for a few years but didn’t use them because they were small for platters; however, I like their shape and sturdiness so I held onto them. Then, I saw them advertised again, but reviewers were using them as plates so I bought several more to try them. I’ve been using them as everyday plates and for about a month and love them. The shape is both practical and aesthetic. I wash them in the dishwasher but leave a space between them so they don’t bang against each other. They’re holding up nicely. VERY please with my purchase!
