I loved playing this game and have told others to play it too. I was dissapointed with the storyline but thats about it. There is no leveling up which isn't a big deal but it would be cool if it had it. All in all a good game. Good weapons, car upgrades, races, side missions, etc.

If you are into first person shooters, do yourself a favor and pick this game up. It has a long engrossing story that made for a great, memorable gaming experience. The graphics are top notch and so are the controls. Definitely would say this is my favorite game of the year. Hope they are working on a sequel!

I was highly looking forward to this game, being a huge fan of Doom and Quake. I was a bit disappointed. The graphics and gameplay are simply amazing but the story feels a bit dull and repetitive. In spite of that there is some interesting and unique qualities to this game and a fan of FPS'ers will enjoy it.

Very similar to the world of Mad Max. Great gunplay and the driving parts of the game are great fun as well.

This game is in the new First Person Questing genre like Borderlands. You have mission to pickup and complete for various rewards like money, armor, etc... the game play is fun and challenging at times, has a great storyline and amazing graphics. If you ever played Borderlands this game is very similar in style and gameplay but the graphics are not cell shaded they are more traditional video game graphics.

I bought this game for my husband for Christmas and it's awesome! He loves it. I don't really get into gaming (I'm partial to gray box Nintendo) however with this game I can just sit there and watch him play it, it's almost like watching a movie and the graphics are great! You should buy this game!

I ended up getting this when it was the only thing left I had not beaten, I t was not my first pick or even in my top 10. However I will admit It should have. Over all game was very well laid out, I enjoyed all the side mission, If you wanted you could diesel thru or spend DAYS doing side quests.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland created by an asteroid impact, based on the real life asteroid Apophis, which is on track to pass near Earth in 2036. In Rage's story, the asteroid strikes on August 23, 2038, and the few pockets of survivors are forced to begin a new civilization. The world is populated by human survivors of the impact, who have come together to form settlements around oases and other practical or habitable locations. These fragile homes are diligently defended by the inhabitants against bandits and mutants, which are divided into various gangs and organizations of their own. Bandits and mutants serve as the player's main enemies for much of the game, although id Software has hinted at some sort of significant change around the halfway point in the storyline. The player emerges into this setting after being preserved inside an underground cryogenic pod called an Ark. The Arks are the direct result of the Eden Project, a massive international undertaking in which hundreds of Arks were sealed under the surface of the Earth with twelve people inside each. Each passenger possessed a special ability or trait that, combined with those of the other members, would help them rebuild society. The Eden Project, however, was far less successful than hoped. The player's Ark in particular is in bad shape at the start of the game. All of the other residents of the player's Ark are dead (presumably because of the impact), and the equipment of the Ark is destroyed as well, so the player wakes up alone and uninformed. With no memory of his identity or objective, the player is forced to head for the surface to find sustenance and allies

Decent game. Great graphics and fun to play at least for the first half. Gets repetitive but overall fun. It's a fairly quick play through. About 10 or so hours. Maybe better to rent. It trys to be like/play like Boarderlands but falls way short.

Super stoked to play this game! Love ID doom 3 was a sick game for original Xbox. Can't wait to play the twisted metal style multiplayer. Its gonna be a nice change of pace from cod

I expected it to be like Fallout 3 but not even close. The gameplay is fun but i probably would not play it again if i finished it.

I liked the game a lot the grafics were great it didn't take me that long to beat the game though but i went back and doing missions I missed b4 to neat the whole game

I hate making reviews for games that I have not played or has not come out yet but this looks like a game worth writing a little about. From watching numerous trailers this game looks like a beef'd up Fallout type of game and I love Fallout. This game pretty much grabbed the same concept of Fallout and added vehicles and different types of Bots. Looking forward to playing this game on Hard. It does look like a game worth purchasing. We just might have too wait and see.

1.Not a cookie cutter type game. 2.Great replayability. 3. Open Sandbox type play is a plus.
