The Raid is one the best action movies ever made and if you are a fan of action movies then you owe it to yourself to watch this and its sequel.

This is one of the greatest action movies of all time. It is a foreign film, so the English dialogue is dubbed in, but this movie is well beyond worth it. The fight scenes are incredible with a good amount of gore.

Simple straight forward plot gives way to a stunning display of action scenes, each inventive, impeccably arranged and executed. It makes you wonder why other action movies aren't held to this wonderful standard.

If you like Ong Bak or the Protector then this movie is a must buy. The fight scenes are so good that you'll swear that you felt every punch and kicks. Story...what's that? Pure popcorn movie so no critics allowed.

I rented this movie on a whim online and didnt know much about it. I was completely blown away by how awesome this movie is. The fight sequences are so gritty and fresh. I immediately bought this and the sequel.

When they told me about this movie I wasn't sure what to expect but it was well worth it because it is an action packed movie and if you like this kind of movie you will really enjoy this one

This is an incredible movie, albeit the violence is maybe a bit more brutal than we're used to in the States. Those who enjoyed the more recent Dredd will notice the plot of this movie is eerily similar.

The basic premise might not be anything new, but the way things play out keeps it interesting. The plot twists that are thrown in every now and again add layers to the stakes to push it beyond mere survival.

Unfortunately there's no dubbed movie version on the Blu-Ray version so it has to be subtitled because I don't speak Korean. The action sequences are some of the best I've ever seen though.

This movie is one of the ones that gets tough and gritty as the fights go on. It has one long fight scene in it without even a cut. This baby is loaded with action and is worth the watch.

If you are into action movies without all the explosions and special effects and more practical stunts, this is for you. Not much in plot, but boy does it deliver action in spades. Not dumb action either. The fight sequences are intricate and complex, almost a work of art.

My main draw for this purchase was the unique Steelbook packaging that accompanied the film. The film itself is excellent and the Steelbook is unique and well made. Absolutely worth the price. ($15)

I've just finished viewing the highly hyped The Raid Redemption,and I would say it's a highly hyped action picture which doesn't live up to the buzz. Lotsa blood, lotsa bullets, lotsa property damage, but not much story. All fine and dandy if you"re in the mood for this sorta thing, but it's all been done before and in a much grander style. WARNING Do not attempt to read subtitles under the influence of Wild Turkey, it will not end well. For the real deal in Asian cinema check out John Woo's The Killer or Hardboiled and give this a later look. Proceed with caution my friends.

This is one of the greatest action movies ever filmed, and now I own it. If you're into a solid action movie without the same old predictable plot or storyline, this is your pick. This movie has one of the best action scenes in the history of cinema.

Highly recommend this film to any lover of either action or martial arts. The choreography is some of the best I have ever seen. Non stop action with gritty and intense violence!

If you're in the mood for a crazy violent, action-packed fight movie with crazy martial arts and not a lot of anything else, this is your film. It has the most intense fight scenes I've ever seen, and it's well worth a watch just to see the spectacular fights.

I heard some good things about The Raid,so for the price i couldn't pass it up. It lived up to the hype ! Crazy action sequences. Awesome martial arts and just superviolent. Just how i like movies !

Have heard rave reviews about this movie for quite some time. Wasn't sure about the subtitles, but doesn't bother me any. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the movie. Got it with the second movie on a BOGO sale. Can't beat the price!

This movie right here is what all action movies should look up to like an older sibling. Story isn't all that but it knows that and the fighting is incredible. Check this and it's sequel out
