I purchased this with the GPS unit that was to go with it. It was stable and gripped well while sat on my dash. Problem was the GPS unit was so heavy it was like trying to watch a movie while being on a roller coaster

Works great! I drive truck, and didn't want to mount the GPS on the windshield. So I bought this, and mounted the 7 inch Rand McNally GPS for Commercial Drivers to it, and perched it on the top of the dash with the unit hanging over the edge. It doesn't move around, by it self, as it has some weight to it, with some sticky on the bottom. I should have bought this a long time ago!

The Overdryve unit has a huge screen which made it awkward to adhere it to the windshield--this beanbag holder works perfectly! The unit suctions to the inside base quite well and the weight is such that it doesn't slide around the dash!

Perfect fit for having your GoPro sit on your auto dash. GoPro's Suction cup is a perfect fit for this, and once attached - all of it stays put. No sliding around when making turns, etc.

Much better than a windshield mounted unit. You can place it a spot that doesnt interfere with your view of the road.

When I first got the Rand McNally GPS device I was using the suction cup mount which comes with the device to attach it to my windshield. But whenever I needed to remove the mount from the windshield because I was going to be out of the car for awhile and then was going to put it back in place it wouldn’t necessarily stick. So I found this alternative mount. The suction cup sticks to it and it stays in place on the dashboard. Now whenever I need to leave the car I just remove the GPS device from the mount, (very easy to do), store the mount in the car door space and take the GPS device with me. This is a much easier way to use the GPS device and not leave evidence of it in a visible place so someone might break in and steal it! Once in a while I will clean both the base and the dashboard with a damp paper towel.

My old TomTom bean bag base was "loosing it's grip," keeping my device from sliding around on my car's dash so I started looking for a replacement. This base is not only smaller in diameter it also looks better and the grippy surface is super sticky, keeping it in place better than any base I've had in the past. For the price it is a great product.

Can be slightly bulky for the dash. But, does the job.

This is quite heavy and as long as you have a good suction between the GPS mount and the dash pad, it works great.

At first I was so disappointed with this product. Opened package put it on dashboard and fastened my 6" gps to it. Was driving and it kept sliding around. Was going to return it when I noticed a paper backing on bottom. Removed it and what a difference. Now does not move at all and am keeping it. Maybe I should have read the directions! Anyway would recommend it.

This bean bag gps holder does Not slip around on your dash. It is very weighted and stays in place.

I had tried others, but the reviews were so good for this bean bag. I decided to give it a try. It's great. I can attach my Garmin Nav and it never budges. It's excellent.

I drive a 10 year old Mini Clubman. I tried to use the mounting bracket that came with my Rand McNally backup camera but ran out of options in a windshield mount. Took up too much view of the road. The bean bag mount works perfectly on my sloped, textured dash. Now l can use the dash cam as well the back up cam.

Nice and heavy, doesn't slide around on the dash. Using it for a GoPro - Perfect!
