I bought this since I remember playing the first game in the series fondly. A great mix of puzzle solving and shooting anything that moves.

First time playing a Ratchet and Clank game and gotta say I have been missing out. graphics are good , game play is great for young or old. I will be checking out the previous games I have missed in this series.

I played with my son and been hooked ever since. It is challenging.

Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time is, simply put, one of the best action games ever made! This game boasts a well developed story. In 'Crack in Time', time is in disarray all across the universe. Ratchet hooks up with an old soldier who knew Ratchet's father and hopes to use The Great Clock, a time controlling device to change history and undo a great disaster. Clank works to restore times balance and keep the universe together. Meanwhile Dr. Nefarious, the bad guy, seeks to use The Great Clock to conquer the universe. There are lots of twists and turns and lots of laughs along the way. All characters are engaging and brilliantly developed. This may sound like the set up for an RPG, but Ratchet and Clank is an action game, and there is no shortage of action in this game. The gameplay is fast and the combat is exciting. Ratchet has a whole host of very cool weapons, my favorite is the Groovitron, which forces your enemies to dance to the beat. Clank has some time warping abilites, which come in very handy when solving this games many mind bending puzzles. The graphics and sound are phenominal. All of the animations are fluid, the characters and backgrounds all have an amazing level of detail and the sound and music is a work of art. This game shows what the PS3 can do and looks stunning in HD. This is one of the best 3D action platform games there is and one of the best games I have ever played! If you own a PS3, this game is an essential addition to your gaming collection. Now I'm looking forward to Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One and I am hoping for a Ratchet and Clank HD Collection which would have the Ratchet and Clank games from PS2 upgraded to HD graphics. For action gaming excellence, look no further than Ratchet and Clank!

I have to say that this is the best Ratchet and Clank game yet. When Tools of Destruction came out, it became a sensation for all ps3 goers. Now A Crack In Time delivers, believe it or not, more than Tools Of Destruction. What A Crack In Time really focuses on is the story, which is so epic, you just can't stop, you want to know what happens next. Anyway, the visuals are even better and brighter(and i'm not just saying that) than tools of Destruction. The New weapons are awesome and the gameplay never gets boring. There are new and improved weapons, and even tons of customizable things for each weapon. Overall a tremendous sensation of a game. An easy 9/10
