If you're an old Ratchet&Clank Fan, you will love it as it is likely the best in the franchise. The story introduces a second protagonist, and while some games that do so lose momentum when switching between the two protagonists, that is not the case here. While they work towards an ultimate goal, they have separate missions and travel to different unique worlds which keeps the story interesting. The game is very polished and I never experienced any bugs. The A.I. is excellent and can definitely challenge you in the harder difficulties. The most impressive part of the game is definitely the lack of loading times, which makes the game very fast paced. Second to this would be how the adaptive triggers of the DualSense are used to give the player more control over their guns with multiple firing modes.

Having been a long time Ratchet and Clank fan for years, this was a good game to play and test the PS5. Story is good, predictable, but fun. The gameplay is challenging and different enough to keep you engaged throughout.

In the seven months since the PS5’s launch, insomniac has managed to release 2 AAA titles. Not only is this impressive because of the fact development was during a pandemic, but because these games are 2 of the best games the PS5 has to offer at the moment. Ratchet and Clank have been around since the PS2 days. Insomniac have always managed to one up themselves with each iteration of the series and this game is no exception. The graphics and gameplay are incredible and shows what this new gen of hardware can do. Buy this game

The Ratchet and Clank series is my all time favorite series. This game is beautiful in every way. The gameplay, the weapons, the characters everything. This game shows the power of the PS5. This is a must buy for every PS5 owner!

You basically are playing a really good Pixar movie. Gameplay and graphics are all top notch. Story is great too. Enjoyed this game a lot more than I thought I would.

The graphics are insane, the game takes full advantage of the new ps5 ssd, and this by far the truest next gen experience ive had since launch, Great job Insomniac, Rachet and Clank Rift Apart is an absolute joy to play!

Best Buy completely lagged and couldn’t deliver this preorder I’ve had for months. So I bought it again In store and wrote this review as i won’t be preordering games in the future due to this. This game is great and an absolute must have for any PS5 owner.

Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart continues & builds on the trend the franchise started on the PS2 by making great game play, with beautiful color & a fantastic story line. Ratchet & Clank on the PS5 is just incredible.

This might be the best looking game I've ever seen. Ray tracing adds so much to the experience and the Dualsense with haptic makes this game unbelievable. If you own a PS5, get this game now.

R&C come back for another round of fun. This was the first PS game that I was amazed and and is a console seller for this generation. The visuals are stunning and the story is enchanting. Must buy!

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is flashy and technically impressive without feeling self-important.

Absolutely loved this game. I grew up playing all these games on the ps2 and so it was super fun to get back into these story lines. Took me abkut 3 weeks of moderate amounts of play to beat. The graphics are amazing, like a Pixar movie, and it was variable enough of levels and gameplay that i never got bored. I did the second hardest difficulty and it was a perfect challenge where there were a handful of parts I had to replay quite a few times, but most of the game i got through first or second time before dying. Highly recommend

Fun Beautiful game. I can’t say enough good things about this game. It’s a great way to relax at the end of a long day at work. Gameplay is great and the story is good and funny. Highly recommended

As someone who has played all the Ratchet and Clank games, this one by far had the most emotion, most beautiful cinematics, and great gunplay. Totally recommend if you want to give it a try!!

Rift Apart is a fun sequel to the previous game of a classic franchise. Much better than the one before it and one of the first games I played on ps5, very fun and plays great

Awesome ps5 exclusive. It runs incredibly well and looks amazing on the LG CX OLED TV. This game really takes full advantage of the Dualsense Controller and it truly does feel like a next gen title.

Ratchet & Clank is back on next-gen consoles! It looks so great and runs smooth @ 60 fps on PS5! The story and controls are fun for all ages! Highly recommend for any platfomer fan!
