Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart celebrates what makes Ratchet & Clank such a fantastic series while also paving the way for future entries. The progression of the game not only gives you more fun weapons to play with, but also gives you so many awesome movement options that make the gameplay even more fun! On top of it all, the game is stunningly beautiful, like you're playing an animated movie without holding your hand. If you have a PS5, this game should be in your library.

To some extent, if you’ve played one Ratchet&Clank game you’ve played them all. The 2016 game was a little underwhelming so it’s nice to have R&C back in full effect. Great graphics, superb animation, polished to the nines… the gameplay isn’t revolutionary but it is fun and the video game equivalent of comfort food. Dual Sense features are really cool, even though it eats up battery life like nobody’s business! Overall, a great game for fans of platformers.

It has been YEARS since I have last played a Ratchet & Clank game, but this brought me back to my glory days of gaming. Aside from Returnal (which I highly recommend), from my perspective, this is the only other PS5 game that truly offers you a next-gen experience on the PS5. The graphics are absolutely stunning -- it's as if you're in a Pixar movie. And the gameplay is fantastic. Absolute must have. Insomniac knocked it out of the park with this one.

A review is for the product itself people not the delivery service. I say this first because people need to not give less stars for an amazing game or product just cause you didnt receive the game on launch day if your preordered. Best buy isnt in control of the delivery service. The game is amazing, the graphics are insane. Havent seen a world in a game look this good! Bought this for my son but couldnt resist the urge to want to jump in on the action.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is a must own title for the PS5. This game is the first game on PS5 or Xbox Series X that gives us a glimpse at what to expect from them in the future and isn't in any way constrained by the PS4. Whether it be the graphics, load times, compelling story and characters, the great music score or the extremely fun gameplay, this game does so many things right. This game has made me grin so much that I couldn't help but play this game until I at least got the Platinum Trophy. This is definitely a game I will revisit now and again to experience. My only complaints are it crashed once shortly after it released which doesn't happen after further patches and some weird hiccups with the platforming in select scenarios where my character would fall through something they shouldn't have. Besides those the biggest issue is that it does feel this game could use more enemy variety. The combat sequences do thankfully change enough to never get tiring thanks to the environments and fun weapons, but it still would've be nice to fight more types of enemies and bosses throughout. The game isn't very long, I played on the hardest difficulty in the RT Performance mode and it took me around 12 hours to beat the main story. I did just get the Platinum trophy which took me around 18-19 hours to get. While that isn't a ton of time compared to some other titles it was well worth it for me. The game doesn't overstay it's welcome. What it does right, it does so well I can't hesitate in recommending it for everyone who owns a PS5. Here's hoping it doesn't take long for PlayStation or Xbox to create more games like this that truly show what this generation of consoles are capable of.

One of the best games in the series and definitely the best game to showcase the power of next-gen with the PS5. This game has great writing, animation and art direction. The gunplay feels great especially with the DualSense's features. While I still feel some of the older games in the franchise are better than this one (A Crack In Time, Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal) it's still one of if not the best game of this year.
