On to the tech: Meta AI is smooth, fast, and surprisingly helpful. You can ask it for directions, take voice notes, control your tunes, or snap pics on the fly. It’s intuitive and surprisingly accurate—no yelling “HEY META” twelve times like you're summoning a ghost. Camera quality? Pretty solid for quick photos and short video clips. Think Instagram Story quality, not cinematic masterpiece. But for on-the-go content or capturing those blink-and-you-miss-it moments, it more than gets the job done. Sound quality? Here's where things get dicey. While the audio sounds fine to the wearer, the speaker placement—right at the nose bridge—is not ideal. If you’re on a call or playing something out loud, people on the other end may struggle to hear you clearly, especially in noisy environments. It’s one of those “great in theory, tricky in practice” situations. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely a detail Meta needs to refine. Battery life? About 4 hours with moderate use—so don’t expect a full day of adventure without a recharge. Final Verdict: These glasses are a whole vibe. Ive had other audio bluetooth sunglasses, Bose mainly, but once ypu slip on these Ray Ban Meta's you will never buy another brand. Sound quality and pictures/video are 2nd to none. Lightweight, durable and si easy to use. Im no techie so i wont dazzle you with specs, but i am a girl who loves sunglasses and musi and when Ray Ban put the 2 together in 1 Wayfarer that was it for me. Ill upgrade whenever i need to but for now i absolutely love these and wear them everyday. They go with everything....

I recently purchased the Meta Ray-Ban Wayfarer Smart Glasses and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I am generally the guy who keeps everyone waiting on family trips or events as I take my pictures on my camera to preserve the memories. These glasses are a game changer as they allow me to take 80% of the random "everyday life" photos without having to pull out my camera. They have the iconic Ray-Ban design, and I appreciate how seamlessly they integrate with my daily activities without feeling intrusive or looking like a total tool wearing them. The Bluetooth audio is surprisingly good and clear. Look I'll be real with you. Are the pictures and video going to beat my DSLR camera - or even a high-end smartphone camera with someone knowing how to take great photos? No. Is the audio going to please die-hard audiophiles? No. Is the Meta AI going to blow your socks off with what it can do? Not yet... However, for what they are: Smart glasses that can take everyday photos (especially for social media) videos, with decent/capable audio stereo speakers, and AI capabilities that can respond to what you are currently looking at, their performance has exceeded my expectations. These smart glasses are definitely something to consider. 8/10

Plus, they still look like classic Ray-Bans—no bulky tech look. Definitely worth every penny. If you’re into smart gear that doesn’t scream “tech,” these are it!

The matte black frame gives these Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers a sleek, modern look that’s easy to wear with anything. The built-in audio is impressively loud, and the sound quality is excellent — clear and full, even outdoors. The one major downside is the battery life. They only last about 4 hours, which means they can’t make it through an entire round of golf without dying. If the battery lasted longer, these would easily be a 5-star product.

Best meta glasses, beautiful design and full features

Surprisingly useful, very good looking smart glasses. On-sale, they feel like a great value. Full price, not as much. At least for the Gen 1s (I have purchased two pairs), one big disappointment is that they are not weather resistant. I used them on a speedboat and getting splashed until I read that they are only usable in very light rain. Not great for sunglasses to not be OK in a wide range of weather conditions. I don’t use the AI features that much, but love having a POV camera always available.
