The Raycop RS Pro really gives you a great way to sanitize and deodorize without the use of any chemicals. As a pet owner I don’t like to use harsh cleaning agents or sprays, so this added a new level of cleaning to my routine without adding toxic chemicals. With allergies and pet dander always being an issue I was ready for something that would raise the bar and this is it. The Raycop is just under 5 lbs and is very easy to maneuver over any upholstery or fabric surface. The cord gives you a great reach, being just over 16ft. A battery powered unit would have been nice, but probably considerably heavier. The actual sanitizing width of the unit is 7 inches which might seem small but you don’t have to move slowly to get good results. The unit comes with detailed but simple instructions so you can quickly start cleaning almost right out of the box. The bottom of the vacuum has two sensors that activate the UV light when it is on a surface, while raising the unit will turn the light off. The “Ultra Pulse” pulsating brush breaks up dirt and shakes off the dust mites without vibrating your arm or making a loud noise. Having a brush on the vacuum that pulses truly helps give your machine more elbow grease. Not only does the UV light kill 99.99% of viruses and bacteria but it is paired with steam-less heat tech that destroys dust mites on contact. This handheld vacuum is the first of its kind when it comes to steam ess heat and has a great safety feature that will automatically shut the unit down to avoid overheating. The Raycop is also paired with a HEPA filter that is specifically designed to not allow allergens to recirculate throughout your home, which is awesome! The dust trap and filter easy pull out of the unit to be dumped and washed when you are finished vacuuming. You should allow the filter to fully dry before putting it back into the vacuum. When cleaning items like a pillow you can easily see how far the UV light penetrates into the material. Doing both sides of a pillow would surely kill any dust mites or bacteria that may live inside. I can’t express how much I love this thing for my mattress as well! I also used this on my dog’s beds, after removing the covers to be washed, I used the Raycop on the foam inserts. It worked very well and really helped to deodorize them. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the Raycop RS Pro UV. I’ve already gotten a lot of use out of it and know that I’ll be using it every time I clean. I highly recommend it to any household looking to destroy odors and dust mites at the source.

Clean well, easy to use, easy to assemble and clean

The utility of this handheld vacuum/sanitizer is endless. My favorite use so far is due to the baby in our household. We have carpeting in her room, which she spends a lot of time on - whether it be crawling, sitting, standing, or trying to lick it. I was worried about the cleanliness of the carpet since previous owners owned a cat. In comes this sanitizing vacuum and problem is solved! An added bonus is allergen removal. I couldn’t be happier knowing that all of these issues are taken care of. I expect to use this in her room about once a week. With the Covid pandemic, I see so much utility in this vacuum for sanitizing couches and chairs which are not easily cleaned. That being said, I used this vacuum on my living room couches and chairs which are made of leather. (This would also work really well on those made of cloth too!) It was super fast; I used this vacuum on a fairly large surface area in about 5 minutes. This gives me peace of mind due to the baby since some family members will come home and sit on the furniture without changing their clothes from being in places like the supermarket or doctor’s offices. I have also used this vacuum to sanitize my down pillows since they are not easily washable. The vacuum itself vibrates unlike a traditional vacuum, making it a little loud when you operate it. However, for the job it’s doing and the power of the vacuum, I cannot fault it. Overall, I love this vacuum/sanitizer and find it very useful during the pandemic and having a young baby in our household.

I really love how easy this is to use! Plug it in, let it warm up (less than a minute) and voila, its ready to use. The cord is very long so you can do a whole room (depending on the size) with out having to unplug it and plug it back in. Follow the directions and you cant go wrong. Its like ironing furniture, I just recommend going slightly slower than you would when ironing. When I did my rooms and living room, it picked up a lot of dust mites. I vacuum daily and was very surprised at how much was picked up. Then you snap out the filter holder, empty it and put it right back in easily. I work at a hospital, and even though I never set foot in my house with my work shoes and my clothes are in a separate area in our laundry room, this is just nice to have to help with extra sanitizing to protect my family.

The Raycop handheld allergen vacuum is lightweight and easy to use. Would be handier if it was cordless but the included cord is long enough to reach just about any area/object. Heats quickly and glides smoothly across surfaces. Used it on a bedspread/sheets and it acted like an iron, smoothing and sanitizing at the same time! Not sure how the UV/sanitization works but according to the manufacturer it does! Handy item to have around the house, small, and easy to use.

I wash my bedding once a week out of habit, but because of dogs, fans, and air conditioning in a dusty desert climate - I thought waking up with a stuffy nose was an inevitable part of life. The Raycorp vac actually worked. I was horrified to see the filter box after vacuuming my just-washed bedding. The next day, I woke up without a stuffy nose. Thinking that vacuuming once was enough, I skipped using the Raycorp the second night and was back to a stuffy nose. The Raycorp instructions advise you to vacuum nightly for just the first week (I should've followed the instructions). Now I'm just vacuuming as needed and am still amazed at how much better I sleep. The cord is plenty long to reach the nearest outlet and it takes about 20 seconds for the heating element to warm up (the indicator light on the handle will flash yellow until the element heats up). To protect your eyes, the UV light shuts off if the vacuum senses that it's not on a surface. To use the vacuum, you just pretend that you're ironing your bed and pillows. The vacuum will disinfect and vacuum with each pass. After each cleaning, you're supposed to wash out the dust bin and filter. This part is somewhat tedious and you have to wait until the bin is dry before putting it back in the vacuum. Storing the vacuum is a minor annoyance too since you won't want to put this on the floor or in the garage with other vacuums. The pros still outweigh the cons with this vacuum and I highly recommend it for allergy sufferers.

I'm so excited about this and so be taking it doing to the hotel we'll be going to, just to feel safer on the bed. This is just great. We vacuum up the couches regularly so I was so surprised how much stuff, tiny little dust and particles this picked up from my couches. Never would have thought there was so so much there. We also used our on all the beds. I can tell you that I'm so glad for this machine. It's something I didn't even know existed! My son's allergies had been much better since using this in his room and he isn't needed to take the needs as often. From 1st time using it, you can feel a difference, a sense of clean and seeing all the stuff in the cup, we could tell why. Felt so good to sleep on the bed after using. It's so easy and simple to use, similar to an iron and watch it pick up what you never thought was there with your eyes. I love the uv light and heat option because it really makes you feel it's cleaning and you can feel and see the difference. Powerf little cleaner.

This handheld vacuum is rather unique. It uses a UV lamp to vacuum/sanitize fabric on furniture such as sofas, beds, pillows, etc. The user’s manual states that this is NOT to be used on wood, metal and other non-fabric hard surfaces. Operation is very simple, plug in, turn on and wait for the Heat Sanitization light to stay a solid yellow and you are good to go. The suction on this handheld is more powerful than I had expected with a handheld device. I used this on my sofa first. I had thought my other handheld vacuum did a good job, but this device not only pulled even more out of my sofa, but also was getting rid of dust mites and whatever other things that were hidden inside. I had no idea my sofa was that dusty and most likely had dust mites after reading about them. They are in any household. I hadn’t thought about it until I saw this vacuum/UV lamp device and investigated about them. The mattress was next and the results were just as amazing, as evidenced from the filter. The one and only downfall of this handheld is that I wish this could get into the corners and crevices of my sofa. I had to use another vacuum with an attachment to get into those hard to reach places. The Raycop is not a very loud vacuum compared to my other handheld. I had my daughter compare and it was actually nowhere near as loud. I can easily hear my television over it which I can’t with my regular handheld vacuum. You are going to be amazed at just how much dust (and probable dust mites which you can’t see) comes out of your cloth furniture and mattresses. The dust box and filter is washable. This is a great bonus. You just need to run the box under the tap and let it air dry. The filter needs to be rinsed off and if needed you can use a sponge to clean off some of the stubborn dust and debris. I feel the replacement filters are reasonably priced. Online at this time you can get 2 pack HEPA filters that go for about $25 and the dust box filters are around the same for a set of 3. To help with allergies, this is not a high price to pay to be able to breathe again. The manual states you should replace the pulsating brush (about $20) and the UV Lamp (about $33) yearly, but only if you use this everyday for 10 minutes a day. I feel I will probably use this handheld for about a half hour at the most a week. I shouldn’t have to replace yearly. Maybe a bigger family would need to do this if they plan on using it every day. I personally would find this a bit of overkill.

I am the first to admit that I thought this was a gimmicky product just to prey on people’s current day concerns thanks to the pandemic but one use changed my mind. I like to think I do a very thorough cleaning in my home so I was shocked how much dust, dirt, and debris this vacuum was able to pull from the cushions on my couches and chair despite everything appearing to be spotless. I do wish it had attachments to help get into the crevices a bit better but with it being a handheld device it’s not completely expected. I also tried it out on my mattresses prior to putting the clean mattress cover and sheets back on. Although there wasn’t much debris for it to get up (thankfully) I do love the idea of the UV sanitation adding a bit more peace of mind for my home. I plan to use it in my car too just for that peace of mind. The only negative I have would be the noise (and it’s not really a true negative. Just something that caught me off guard and is worth noting). I would have preferred a system that maybe gave you a full floor option where the handheld part can be used when needed but there are options available in other offerings from the brand that would fit your needs if this one feels lacking. Overall I would recommend adding this to your arsenal if you really want the added peace of mind of a more thorough cleaning and sanitation of the surfaces in your home.

I have suffered from allergies, year round, all of my adult life. My primary allergies are animal dander, dust, dust mites, mold and some tree pollen. I took allergy shots for many years with no noticeable result. I really dislike taking antihistamines as they make me feel tired and goofy. This vacuum has a heating element and a UV bulb aimed at dust mites in addition to suction and a rotating beater/brush that deal with the mites and their food source. I was surprised at the amount of stuff that this sucked out of my newish mattress, pillows, mattress pad, sheets and pillows. I've used this every other day since getting it (the instructions state that it should be used often in the beginning). I have also used this on our sofa where both of us often nap with our cat. My allergies are better since beginning to use this vacuum. This is the first thing I've ever tried to treat dust mites other than clean linens replacing pillows now and then. So far this seems to help and I will continue using it. If you have year round allergies and dust mites are one of your allergens this is worth a try.

Raycop RS Pro is an easy to use tool to remove dust mites, pollen, bacteria , viruses and other allergens. It is the first handheld allergen vacuum to use Steamless Heat Technology. There is no assembly needed and no chemical additives so just plug in the power cord and press the power button and you will begin sanitizing fabric surfaces such as bedding and cushions. Much like ironing, you move the vacuum back and forth over the surfaces while the rotating brush pushes the debris into the dust box filter. At the same time the UV light kills the viruses. Should you lift the vacuum off the surface, the UV light shuts off as a safety feature. The dust box filter is also easy to clean – just submerge it under water to rinse out the collected debris. Use of a brush or sponge will aid in cleaning the screen filter but is not included.

I was somewhat apprehensive opening the box, thinking about how many pieces there are for assembly and the weight and size of the vacuum. Thankfully, the RAYCO-RS Pro UV+ Handheld Allergen Vacuum comes fully assembled and is clearly labeled and has a step by step product instructions and documentation. The quality and ease of use are both superb. The handle is designed to disperse the weight and after using for 15 minutes I had no problems and was ready to keep going. Highly recommend this item.

This item could not have come at a better time. My Father in law came for a visit recently and he has severe allergies. Is allergic to EVERYTHING! He uses charcoal toothpaste, only wears organic cotton clothing... The guy is a fanatic. Whenever something affects him it results in severe burning. As such, we were quite excited to get this to help us prepare the guest room for his arrival. Once we got the unit, unboxed it and read the instructions, we were ready to go. It only takes a minute or so for this thing to warm up. We used it on the mattress, the sheets, blanket, pillows, carpet, curtains, EVERYTHING! We also did it on the sofa and some bath towels that we bagged afterwards only for him to use. We were gobsmacked at the amount of material this thing picked up. It really does the job. After we sanitized, we waited for his arrival. The difference for Father-in-law was night and day. Of course it wasn't perfect, but he was so much better. He hates to travel because of his allergies and this product has him changing his mind. We gave it to him to take home with him and bought another so that we can be ready for his next trip over. 10 stars if I could!
