This is a super awesome keyboard and I would definitely recommend it to any MMO player out there. I use it with SWTOR and ESO in combination with a Razer Naga mouse. All of the extra macro keys and MMO keys are a huge help. I also love how you can customize the lights on the keyboard to be any color you like. My only issue was the amount of separation between the 2 USB plugs. The cords were really easy to get tangled around various things during transportation. I eventually bound them together with some electrical tape, which solved the problem, so only a minor inconvenience.

    Great Gaming Keyboard!

I have to say that I do love this keyboard .. It replaced my old G1 last year, which was not a failure my any means. The Anansi just felt good to me from day one. In the beginning I was disappointed that the back lighting was .. not as bright as I thought it would be compared to my Naga mouse and my Nostromo. however I grew to like it. I could see the keys in the dark but I wasn't blinded by the keyboard either. I also have the Black Widow Ultimate you can see the difference in back lighting below. Both are set to the brightest settings. Keys are nice while not mechanical they have a tactile feel and you know when you have pressed a key. The keys are slightly larger than the Black Widow. The keys are relatively quiet. The only complaints that I can think about are 1) I wish it did have a mechanical option. 2) The placement of the thumb modifiers keys are awkward. I have big hands so I had to pretty much just forget that they were there. Using the Nostromo and the Naga this is nott really be an issue. However I chose this keyboard because of those keys. And finally 3) while not really an issue if you have a USB hub (with laptop) or are using a true desktop . The keyboard requires 2 USB slots to power it. I have read that one slot is primarily for the lighting and that you can disregard it but come on who wants to do that. All in all I am very impressed with the keyboard. I recently bought the Razer Black Widow Ultimate Keyboard and while I do love that keyboard I am not retiring this keyboard. I like it that much. A keyboard is just not a keyboard. And this keyboard is a keeper! I had to take a star off due to the awkward placement and inability to use the thumb modifier keys.

I was looking to replace an old Razer Lycosa keyboard that I had because it was getting worn out and having issues. When I went to look for a new keyboard, I was greeted with almost nothing but mechanical keyboards! I personally cannot stand the mechanical keyboards, and was starting to become discouraged that would be all I had to choose from. Then I saw this. You can change the backlight colors to whatever you want them to be, or have the colors pulse throughout the entire color spectrum. The key presses feel slightly stiff, but it is better than mechanical to me. I honestly do not use the hotkeys on the side of the keyboard or below the space bar. If the keys were just a little easier to press, this would have gotten five stars from me.

I have had several Logitech gaming keyboards ranging from low to mid range. If you are looking for a nice low price gaming keyboard I would recommend looking into this on. Keys are very responsive, I love the placement of 5 programmable keys just under the space bar. Lets me not move my hand to hit programmable keys so i can keep moving while casting spells or abilities. Even though this says MMO gaming, I have used it also in 1st person shooters. Programing the same keys below the space bar with maro's that I us works great. Software that comes with the board is easy to use and easy to set up your maros's. If your into gaming and want a good solid low cost gaming keyboard that is solid all around, I would recommend this one.

I bought this as I do a lot of tanking in MMOs and need access to my whole bar more easily. It also has the the macro feature which allows some set button combs at the push of one. I would recommend this to any online gamer out there, add the naga mouse to it and you'll have everything you need to own that raid, or arena. the only problem i have is i have larger hands and the spacing could be wider for comfort.

My E key physically worked but sometime it would send two E signals. I didn't notice this when gaming just when chatting in game and working on word documents. I feel like this should have been found in the quality check if they even do one.

First off, this is a very good keyboard. I ended up returning it, but only for cosmetic reasons. The only issue I had with this keyboard was the back-lighting: even on it's brightest setting, it is WAY too dim. The box art is very deceiving because even in a dark room, it is not very bright at all. I know that is only superficial and it did not effect the actual performance, but you could say I'm visually oriented and the lighting does matter to me. For this reason only, I did end up returning it for a SteelSeries Apex.

Great keyboard, but shortly after installing it the Synapse 2.0 software ( what you use to map the keys and configure the keyboard) became stuck in an update loop and no longer recognizing the keyboard. I am working with Razer support to get this issue fixed but thats not going anywhere. It's a shame that such a good keyboard (hardware wise) can not be supported/managed by an equally good software. I would go with a logitech instead or another gaming keyboard. NOT worth the hassle, by the way this happen to a buddy of mine with a different model but after 6 months he got his issue resolved.

Great solid keyboard. I use it 10 hours for work and then games. Disappointed you need to be online to program it. That doesn't work too well. Still happy with the performance.

Overall it's a good keyboard. I only have two complaints. The characters (letters and symbols and numbers) on the keys take a lot of getting used to. It's not terribly practical for everyday typing because they're so alien looking. Secondly, I don't really like the keys below the space bar. I maximize my keybinds and when my top row buttons mysteriously stopped working, it took me awhile to realize my wrists were touching the extra keys at the bottom - not ideal. The mechanical movement of keys is good and I love all the colour options, but I'm gifting it to my son and getting one that doesn't have buttons on the wrist rest.
