I've owned this keyboard for about a month now and I am very pleased. The keys are a bit stiff and the backlighting could be brighter, but other than those minor issues it's been great. I've had no software issues or glitches of any kind. Unless you love mechanical keyboards, this seemed to me the best value for MMO gaming.

Cramped keys ruin an otherwise excellent keyboard

On paper it is a fantastic keyboard BUT the keys are too close together for it to be comfortable to use. I have been gaming with a Razer Lycosa for the past 3 years and wanted to upgrade to something new. This felt like a downgrade in terms of comfort. I think the extra macro keys to the left leave too little room for the rest of the keyboard and thus the cramped typing. Don't get it unless you have small hands.

I have the Naga mouse and the Nostromo gaming pad. Both excellent products. Thought I would buy matching keyboard. Anansi was natural choice. Hooked it up and backlight was very dim compared to my other 2 accessories. Loaded software thinking it would make it brighter....FAIL. It was on the brightest setting. Also very laborious to type on this thing. Going to try the Lycosa.

Worst keyboard that I have ever used, even the free ones included with a new computer outperform this. Save yourself the frustration and invest in something else. Bad software, unresponsive keys and just a bad feel in general.

I bought this keyboard to type with and gameing... thats what a keyboard is for. I used it for a little while then I had to deploy so I bought a laptop. Didn't need the keyboard until I got back. I can't return the flawed (can't put what i really feel here) product anymore so I was stuck with it until I recently just broke it in half out of frustration of how utterly useless the keyboard was. Unsure what the others are talking about but I wouldn't waste my money on this keyboard. Oh and another thing. The software is buggy as well.

I do not recommend the Razer Anansi keyboard to ANYBODY!! I made the mistake of buying it from Best Buy, and after having had it for a couple of months several serious problems have cropped up, i.ee.; the incredibly CHEAP plastic keycaps where a couple of the keys' symbols are nothing but worn holes on top of the keycap and more caps are on their way to being illegible; the "Shift" key does not register a lot of the time; the "E" key double punches ALL the time; while other keys just randomly do not register when struck no matter how diligent you are in pressing them which makes proof reading EVERY word absolutely mandatory; which brings up how mushy the keys truly are; the futuristic key symbols are a problem especially with the "Y" and the "U" looking almost identical so that one is always being mistaken for the other since they are located right next to each other; and finally, dealing with their service dept is a nightmare! I will NEVER buy another Razer product EVER! Unfortunely I also bought a Razer mouse and Razer mousepad and I have been told it is too late to return any of the products because it has been more then thirty days....I have problems with those two items too, but that is another story...

Love the Razor brand but this is not a keyboard for those gamers that spend hours online daily.
