Almost perfect- Pretravel issues

Great mouse with pretravel issues. Almost perfect mouse. Main issue is the pretravel on M1 and M2 buttons. Not an issue if you play singleplayer, but online competitive fps games give it more lag than the razer viper ultimate.
Pros
Great shape, no pain. Can use all grip styles. I haven't had any pain at all.
Focus+ sensor is great, slightly worse than Logitech's hero sensor, as far as cpi variance goes.
V2 optical switches- once again hindered by the pretravel issue,
Lots of mappable buttons, great for mmo, action rpg games.
Great price and features.
Lighter than G502 but still may be a bit too heavy for fps games. Roccat Kone pro wired may be better in this regard but lacks the buttons.
Cons
Pretravel issue
Software doesn't let you save RGB setting onboard, must run software.
Wish it were available in different colors like quartz or mercury from viper line
Conclusion- Great mouse, almost perfect. Had to return because I play mostly online competitive fps games. Razer Viper Ultimate and Superlight are still better with better click latency. I do prefer the shape of the basilisk though.
Razer please fix pretravel issues and more colors, I would purchase a fixed V3 version.

An excellent mouse overall and I'm happy with my purchase. I got this mouse on sale for $35.99, an amazing price for such a good quality mouse, MSRP is pretty expensive but I often see it on sale at around $50-ish.
Pros: It feels well made and durable with grip tape on the sides. Glides well and is much lighter than the G502. All of the buttons are very crisp and responsive, dpi paddle is remappable and removeable. Adjustable scroll wheel is great. RGB lighting looks nice, especially on the scroll wheel. Cable is braided and very flexible to minimize drag. Software is easy to use and has many customization options.
Cons: $80 MSRP is steep for a wired mouse.

Started with the mamba wireless...this one is way better for a smaller to medium hand with palm grip. Also awesome for office productivity too with the tilt scroll wheel left n right.

Having played on consoles for the better part of the last decade, I wanted to move back into some computer gaming. I know that a mouse is a very important device so I read the reviews and opted for this Razer. Quality-wise, this mouse is very well made and is built for the rigors of whatever you may be clicking through. The actions are quick and very responsive. The Razer software to download was very easy and allows visual customization. The wire is a reinforced cable which has shown no signs of wear.
After about 6 months, the mouse has held up very well and am very impressed.

Identify twin of my favorite mouse

Identical twin of Logitech G502.
Advantage:
Basilisk V2 is lighter (93g vs 120+g), with softer cable.
Optical click switch, which is superior to mechanical switch, on paper at least.
Disadvantage:
Basilisk V2's button click is not as crisp as G502.
Shell is matted, doesn't feel as premium as the G's hard smooth shell.
Basilisk V2 is $20~$50 more expensive than the two G502 editions.
Overall I like this mouse, with the reduced weight on my favorite G502 mouse shape. The price difference between this and new G502 Hero which is frequently on sale is a little hard to ignore. However if you like G502 but wish it's lighter, this Basilisk V2 is perfect for you.

Like how it has rubber sides that make it easier to pick up. Has a textured top that I like as well. It's feet and lightweight, compared to my old m720 triathlon, allow it to glide across my mouse pad which is really nice. The mouse sensor is really smooth. the dpi clutch on the side is a nice feature, but I don't really use at all. Same thing for the dpi up/down button in the center, I just got it to a dpi I liked and keep it there. The software it uses, razer synapse, is similar to Logitech's g hub software, which both are fine. Overall solid mouse if you can find it on sale.

Love this mouse, have been a razer mouse fan since I bought my first one years ago which I still have. My grandparents actually use my old razer mouse and love it lol. I don't dive into the Macro part of these devices, probably should, though this mouse is smooth as in the gliding paired with a razer mouse pad. Feel is very tactile which I love and the sensitivity range is great and can go Uber slow for accuracy or Lightning fast to react to immediate danger.

I'm a Razer girl. I love my Razer products. I am using my husband's old Ornata Chroma and love it. So when it was time to upgrade my mouse, I went looking and was drawn to the expensive side, but they just didn't fit my hand right. I have smaller hands, as I'm a woman. This mouse is perfect. I don't need all the extra buttons. And I've never been a fan of the wireless mice, because of the suckiness of it dying when you're in the middle of a game! This mouse is perfect for someone with smaller hands, and a great price!

It’s a good product, I haven’t had any issues after a month. The customizable scroll wheel resistance is pretty neat. I wish the left mouse button was a little more clicky. The dpi throttle comes in handy when gaming. It’s a pretty bulky mouse and is best used with a palm grip. I bought mine on sale and it’s been worth it. I’d recommend it. The rgb on it isn’t all that flashy so if you’re going for a minimalist setup that’s a bonus as well.
